I read the "Slowing it down" thread and it mentioned about you being able to sign up a friend? Do I need to wait for it to open or can you sign up one friend?

I think you need to wait for registration to open to sign up on FH if that's what you mean, as it opens for a certain amount of time such as an hour or more each day.

Aye, like Hugrf stated before me, you'll need to wait for the registration to open up again to register for your friend. The registrations open up randomly so my advice is check in every hour that you can and cross your fingers that you'll be able to catch it open.

You will need to wait until registration re opens. As Vespian said, it opens up at random times and it is only open for a short amount of time. So if you are planning to sign a friend up then you need to hurry when you see the registration re open.
