Unable to load Terrain.cfg file for map!
« on: August 01, 2013, 11:55:09 pm »
So, I made this map. It was working FINE until just now. When I try to load the map I was making, it tells me "Unable to load Terrain.cfg file for Home!"  :-[ (I named my map "Home")

I have no idea what any of that is but if someone could help me get my map back I would be very greatful!!!  :)

You may be missing your terrain.cfg in it's folder. The only suggestion I can give is remaking it sadly, or at least check in Local Disk (C:)>Feralheart>media>terrains>Home (if that's the map name, right?) and checking for anything that looks like terrain.cfg
If you find nothing like that then I'd suggest remaking it then, yes, and if you need object recovery then just put the other .cfg's I guess in another folder some where then remaking it, copying them then and replacing them into the same folder that was your map's folder where I told you to look.
Hope this made sense and well, helped. It's the only thing I can think of for now.

this error happens when you have renamed/moved/deleted the folder that contains the cfg files of your map.

Any map consist on a .map file and a folder with your map name located at FeralHeart\media\terrains

Your map could be also get deleted if you did a system restore, and the way to get the fles back is to undo the restore and backup the files on a USB flash drive before to do the system restore again.

I hope this information could be useful.
