I don't Get It

When i was looking at some comments, i noticed that some floofs have -1 or -2 etc on their floof-O-meter.... What does that mean? i'm confused. Can someone explain?

xD I asked the same question a long time ago as well. Some people have that cause back when Feral Heart was starting, they had this system where you can either nuzzle someone +floof, or you can bite someone -floof. Honestly I'm glad this system was taken off cause it does leave a negative feeling for some people but yes for the much older members here might have something like that on. Raz and the rest of the staff felt like it was just better off just having the nuzzle tab instead of having a negative tab as well.

I noticed in an update they removed a feature to have people only floof other people. Originally the Floof-O-Meter was known as Karma and you can either... exalt or smite or something down those lines.
They probably removed the "smite" feature for some reason, and changed it to Floof-O-Meter plus adding a 'nuzzle' option only to that.
I guess the smite button was somewhat disrespectful to some people? I don't know. I remember reading an update 'bout this a long time ago I think...

Yes. In the early days of FH we had a regular karma meter with down and up votes. People could indeed bite someone instead of nuzzle which would give them negative karma.

I had many discussions regarding this with both members as staff, and after many minor drama cases regarding the karma and usage of it, the staff decided to change the name of the karma functions name but also remove the negative vote. This overall keeps a more friendly feeling over the forum which has been proven to work a lot more nicely even though the negative vote can be missed at times. People did tend to abuse it over minor things, even logging on several accounts or telling friends to go and bite someone due to them doing, or saying something that in all honesty wasn't that bad.

Today the forum gets by slightly easier.
