meshes and items for mac

Hi there i really want to make a cool map with meshes but the thing is i dont know how to install them into the game on a mac computer i have tried heaps of tutorials on youtube but none of them work. I also want to know how to install items with mac as well and maps and all those cool things i really want to know how so i can enjoy the game morei need to learn how

You will need a program such as GIMP or Photoshop to make maps. The one in the tutorial is GIMP which can be downloaded free.
