Maps Will Not Transfer to FH.

I made a map on GIMP (Grayscale, 513x513, one layer and no Mask) And exported as (mapname)Terrain.png

I then made a folder and put the .png inside of it.

When I went to FH >> Tools >> Mapmaker and attempted to type in the file name under "Terrain," All I got was either a crash or "Could not find...!"

Help, please? I love seeing maps and want to make my own and supply others with them, but I can't seem to make them. Did I miss anything?

You could try renaming the image name or save the new image outside the folder you made. When you exported the .png out of GIMP did you make sure to flatten the image? Make sure it doesn't have an alpha channel.

EDIT: You could try going over the Watermill's heightmap image perhaps?

Actually, no. I did not flatten the image. Thank you, I shall try that now.

You may see a box appear with a whole of of options. Be sure not to change any of the current settings, otherwise go ahead and click the 'Load Default' button before flattening the image.
