'Failed to connect to map server, retry?'

I get the message 'Failed to connect to map server, retry?' whenever I enter a map I downloaded. I have tried every day for three days, and still nothing. Do I have to wait until the next server reset? It is doing this on two maps, and both I would like to be able to use. Any workaround other than waiting?

Hmm... the maps that you download? Try, downloading the map again, maybe? Either that or the server is down. This is a map that you downloaded and didn't come with the game right?

Also, try resetting your characters home by clicking the User Panel in the golden box at the top.

User Panel >> Enter User and Password >> Character Reset >> Go Home

Now try entering the map again.

And yes, they were maps I downloaded. To be specific, the maps are Algid (Found over dA) and the Carpe Diem Map Pack v2, the map inside of that one is Catch, which has only portals. I have had the maps on my computer previously and they worked fine, no issues. I redownloaded them and suddenly I am coming up with these errors, for the Algid one so is most of my group. I have reset my character many times, and still nothing. (I am not new to FH by the way, I just have ittle interest in the forums.)

I understand. Since you know how to download maps I would've guessed that. Is there any file that you know of that might be missing?

Anyway, this is a common problem that FH has been experiencing since it's debut. Sometimes the map servers of random maps just stop working. This is only fixed by a server-wide reset, which we haven't had in a while, so we're due for one soon, actually. Just be patient and check up again now and then. :3

The only thing that would be a problem is if your other friends can get in and you can't, in which case something else is required.

Nope, I am not the only one having issues, any idea when the server reset would be? (Out of curiosity, I really want to know what Algid looks like. ;

Try re-downloading thge map, and I have nothing really to day since they said it before. c:
