Can't Connect to Map Server
« on: December 10, 2013, 06:18:18 pm »
Every time I try to get on one of my characters, it says that I can't connect to the map server. It does that with every character. My internet is fine, and my FH worked fine this morning. What do I do?

Hmm...Maybe the FH is down?

If not then it may be some sort of glitchy in the game :/  If it doesn't work later try uninstalling and reinstalling.

If all of your characters are in bonfire it is currently down so i would recommend that you go to "user panel" above near your log in area of the site and reset all your characters to lonely cave, if not you could try changing your render system from/to either OpenGL or direct3D9 or even uninstalling and re-installing feralheart c:
Its so so so so SO SO RARE i ever log into the game i am always found around the forums usually at my inbox or the help forums.
My username in game is rink if you find another user using rink it is a fake.
If you  cannot get a hold of me on here you can find me on the IT server dragons den as rink or deviantart as AlphaRink

Failed to connect to map server is a message you also can get while changing maps and entering portals in the game. It's usually nothing severe either, and as worst, your character might be stuck in that map until there's a reset of the map server process. Another issue similar to this can be if you get the loading screen after choosing a character, but it never loads. Most of the time it should be followed by this "failed to connect" message. If you try to choose another character that isn't placed in the same map, it sometimes let you play since every map in the game, has it's own server process. Sometimes the server needs to be restarted in order to fetch some stuck characters. If you had characters that's been stuck for weeks, you should contact the staff.
