Hmm, what was this username that you'd signed up with? Usually, when new accounts start acting strange, it's because
a.) it wasn't activated,
b.) the account wasn't even created,
or c.) The account is there, but there is an issue with either the length of the username or password.
Usually when it says it's an invalid user/password, that's gonna be option B or C. I'm thinking it's option C for you.
For one, though, here are some things to check when looking at your password/username that might be causing your issues:
- If your username or password is longer than 16 characters, sometimes it will glitch out. This is almost always the case for passwords, though usernames will sometimes be alright if it is longer than this.
- You shouldn't use the numpad for your username or password, if you have one your keyboard.
- Some symbols do not work in usernames/passwords. If they are something you wouldn't usually find on a standard English/American keyboard (think your normal letters and numbers), this could be the cause of the issue. Hopefully, though, with some new work on the server as of late, it should have warned you if you'd used any symbols that would not work.
So, consider these first, but if you tell me your username (either here or via PM) then we can double-check for any other issues that might be keeping you from logging in, as well.
