Constant crashing in Fluorite Plains (SOLVED)
« on: December 29, 2013, 12:05:15 am »
I honestly don't know where to begin.
Well, Feralheart has been doing this to me for awhile; Everytime I try to get into Fluorite Plains (And most of the other Public maps) my game stops working.

Either instantly, just as I connect to the map server, or after a couple seconds of being there.

Usually just before I crash the ground will disappear and parts (Legs,Manes,Tails, etc) will vanish on other players/My character and then I crash.

(Ground's gone, some of the parts on my character are missing like the tail)

(This happened when I tried to watch someone's movie, everything seemed fine beforehand but as I clicked on it Feralheart crashed, making it next to impossible to find roleplays to join for me since people have to recruit with movies.)

Is there a certain way to stop this? It seems others have no difficulty at all, considering when i'm in a group and they're recruiting they do just fine in Fluorite, while I have to stay in the Pack map.

I've tried reinstalling Feralheart, removing mods and maps, a lot of things. Though none of my attempts to fix this help.

I'd appreciate any help I can get with this, Thank you.

Crashing the Fluorite is quite common and your graphics card shouldn't be a real problem. Try to wait it out, however if it doesn't work, try changing your Render System by going to (C:) Local Disk > FeralHeart > ogre.cfg

When you click it you will see a line which will say:

Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]

Replace OpenGL with Direct3D9 and go in-game.

However, if that doesn't work either, it may be a server problem so I suggest waiting for Feral Heart to calm down.

I hope this works.^^
