okay, did that.
the only problem is is that i uploaded it to mediafire- and the only files on there are:
pineclanmaterial.cfg
pineclanobjects.cfg
pineclanterrian.cfg
pineclanterrian.material
there were two files left, including the "Water" file, which i expect means that the ocean would be gone. i think.
is that alright, or do i need to do anything?
There shouldn't be any .cfg or .material files. If you're taking them from your Feralheart >> Media >> Terrains >> Map folder then the people who download can access the map through Map Maker, giving them access to map editing. It won't work correctly.
Just like Alpha said, you must load your map in Map Maker and click the Export button. In your Feralheart >> Exports folder there should be files such as:
- .fhm the map
- .fho the object groups
- .fhs and .fhw the custom sky and weather used.
Those are the files you need for sharing. Put all the ones related to your map in a folder and compress it. If you're using Windows 7 you can compress the folder by right-clicking it and choosing "Send to compressed zip folder". If you're using a different operating system you will need a program such as WinRAR to compress the folder.
Compressing a folder allows everything inside it to be downloaded in one go, rather than uploading one file at a time.
Adding water in your map is done in Map Maker, not Object Maker where there are water collision boxes (unless that's what you're after). It's as simple as ticking the Ocean box and changing the height.
