Preset doesn't work. Help?

I recently got a preset and the files were named for the preset_8 folder, but since I already had a preset in that folder I put the files in preset_3 and renamed them as the preset_3.MATERIAL file said. Now, when I opened the preset maker, it was showing the textureless character, you know black/yellow. I have no idea what to do now ;n;

Are ye' sure ye' named the files correctly?
For example, for the actual preset files, did ye' rename 'em to preset_3body, preset_3eye, preset_3mane, etc?
Ye' will also need to go into the preset's material file 'n rename any preset_8 text to preset_3 then save/overwrite said file.

Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken on somethin' in my suggestion.

Make sure that the image files are png/jpg, depending on what the material file says.
If that's not the issue. I'd suggest taking screenshot of the folders 'n material file, to make it easier for people to help.
