Terrains not working in game or in map-maker

The first time I downloaded feral-heart onto my Eee PC laptop, I would go into the game (after logging in) and it would be pitch black. Now I got that fixed, but when I go into a map like the south pole, the terrain is just the grassland terrain, not the snow color. It is like this on the map maker too, and other maps. I've tried to re-download feral-heart tons of times, and it worked on an older laptop. This has been driving me crazy for at least 1 year!!!

The problem is yer computer I'm afraid. Is yer computer software old in age? I do have three options in mind that ye' could try.

1. Try changin' yer renderin' system. If ye' know not as to how to do that, here's a tutorial below:

Method number 1
First, go into C: > Feralheart. If you look at the FH main folder, you will see a flie called:
'orge.cfg'
Click it, and open it with 'NOTEPAD'.

Look at the first two lines in the orge.cfg file. That is where you change your rendering system.

If you followed everything that was typed and the instructions in the pictures, you should have successfully switched your rendering system.

Method number 2
Turn on FH!
On the main screen, you will see this:

Click options, and go to video. Click 'Rendering System.'

Then just simply switch your rendering system.

Note that sometimes method 2 doesn't awlways work- That's why I listed the orge.cfg file first. ^^ Good luck! Hope this helped those who don't know how to change their rendering system!~

2. Update yer graphics card.

3. Buy a new computer software for if the options above fail to work for ye', I know not if there is a solid solution to this.

Do you have Windows? Because if you don't chances are DirectX will not work properly.

If your computer is Windows you can always try to download the latest version of DirectX.
