Preset Help for a poor unfortunate soul
« on: October 12, 2014, 05:32:05 am »
Hello! Listen to my tale of woe and you'll understand why I want help.

Recently, I made my friend a dragon preset. Which was painstakingly difficult and took a lot of time.

However, when she sent me the exported version from her account (over skype), I couldn't see the preset.

Even worse, every other preset she sent me over Skype did not work in the slightest. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling and changing the names of the presets to match how I see her and how she sees herself. Nothing works and I am at my wits end.

Please help? :>

I don't know too much about preset malfunctions (so hopefully this makes sense in my explanation) but if yer friend has any spaces, underscores, or capital letters in her username, that could play a role as to why ye're not seein' any of her presets like ye' should.

Ask her if she's loggin' into the game correctly (usin' capital letters, underscores, and/or spaces if there is any) and exportin' 'em to that user instead of neglectin' a certain character. This is mainly done with users with capitalized letters.
For example, if I were to log into the game and export a preset under the username dishonored rather than my actual user Dishonored (with the capital D), the users who obtain my .fhp files won't be able to see my presets like they should.

I'd also ask yer friend if any other of her acquaintances can see her presets. If not, then the problem may actually be originatin' on her behalf instead of yers.

Hm, similar thing happened to me before.
You should ask your friend to upload a preset on mediafire (it's free and really easy to use) and to send you a link of the preset.
It should work.
