From a previous download, I had attempted to put in the same preset files and everything into my current Feral Heart folder (all in the correct places, of course). But after I did this, and tried to restart my game to see it in the Preset Maker, the game would not start at all. I'd click it, it would display the black screen before all the logos, but it would stop there. It would then display a message stating "feralheart.exe has stopped working" or something, and I would have no choice but to close it down. I have reverted the preset files to normal, and removed all additional things in the folders. But still, my game will not start. I checked for the extra particle files as well, and there are none.
What can I do to fix this, besides completely removing the game and downloading it all over again? (I have a lot of other downloaded things on it, like changed music, textures, markings, etc)
