Removing the notifications of strangers signing in
« on: October 07, 2011, 08:56:18 am »
Feral Heart is a very social game, I gathered that when I first went to Bonfire Island and I'll never complain about the vast amount of friends I've met thanks to the simple notification of who has signed in.

Now imagine the game in a year or so when the number of registered users has greatly risen. The amount of "Thisperson has arrived" and "Thisperson has signed out" messages will flood the chat box, making it nearly impossible to keep track of conversations.

I've really enjoyed my time on FeralHeart so far, and let me tell you I'll not stop using it for a long time to come, but I'd really appreciate it if the sign-in notifications would not appear in the chat box.

My suggestion would be to have a tickbox that lets you switch off the notifications like you can with general, local, whisper e.t.c.

Do you see my point?

EDIT: If you say it can be done, I've yet to discover a way to.

  It can be done.

Press escape (this step can be avoided if done from the main menu) > options > interface > arrival chat name type the select teh option don't show.

This feature was added long ago.
