Game has stopped working..?

Earlier today, my Feral Heart crashed. Meaning, I clicked on it, it went to the black box, then the white box. I clicked "OK", yet right after, at the larger black box, this happened:



As many friends suggested, I re-installed Feral Heart.

The same exact problem happened.

Yes, I downloaded a large map before this happened, but as I said before, the same problem happened after I re-installed the game, clearing all of the maps, markings, items, e.t.c. (Which I have yet to get.)

Please help me solve this problem!

This happened to me. First, sadly, you have to delete the map, and all that came with it. Have you ever downloaded particles? If so, go to Media>Particles, and delete the files you downloaded. Please check back with me. c:

Try manually installing DirectX yourself. I'll put a link below, or, you can manually change it via the ogre.cfg file. Simply open it in notepad and the first two lines can be changed.

Or maybe check through your particle folder, make sure there are no duplicate files. Files ending in _0, _1, _2 and so on.

Try running Feralheart on different rendering systems to see if that works, or as Alpha said, try installing DirectX manually. If none of these things work then I'm afraid you'll have to contact a moderator for help. Best of luck to you!

Ah, thank you all so much! The problem was the particles; after I cleaned them out the game worked perfectly. Now to re-install the maps and such. -sigh- Thanks again!
