Sky modification codes?

Hey there floofs, I have yet another question involving FeralHeart and this time in making a mod for the game. The sky. I have already played with the codes and found a look I like, so yes my sky has already be modified, but...

I was wondering, if by any possible chance, there was a code of some sort that would allow me to rig the sky mod so that the stars only appear at night? Right now, I have a starry sky that appears at both night and day, and personally that bothers me greatly. If need-be, I can post screenies of my currently modded sky, just ask. And if I can get my paws on these codes, I may (but no guarantees thereof) release the mod as a public download on dA.

Help is appreciated~

Unfortunately, re-doing the sky texture doesn't have a code that allows it to only be seen at night. If that were the case, then the default sky texture would most likely appear at night but disappear during the day, and what a pain!

The only code that is implemented into the game by default is that which allows the "star texture" to fade out during the day time. Though changing the star texture literally only does that, it won't change how the actual sky looks.

I know lots of people who've publicly released sky mods, well aware that it will show up in the daytime as well, they simply note at a disclaimer that this happens, just so the downloader knows. But you oughta put the mod up anyways, because I personally have a sky mod, and they look really pretty, in both the daytime and the night time.

I even contacted said feral to see if they might help, with no resulting luck, as they had said that their friend had created such codes so therefore did not have direct access to the source.

Oh! Well, I've never seen such a thing, and I do apologize if I relayed false information ^-^" Unfortunately I've no idea what the code may be, though I'm sure it's something modified withing the sky.mat file  I do apologize again for not being of much help, but if I catch any word (I'll also be playing around with the codes because now you've got me curious) I'll let you know.

I might still tweak my codes as well, to see if I might find what I'm looking for.

No worries c: I actually began discussing this with a friend of mine. He said it's rather difficult, playing with the sky codes as they're quite complex, but if you're still determined (which I hope you are!) you oughta take a look at the moon and stars codes. Considering the moon and stars fade out at day, perhaps you could figure out how to connect that with making the sky fade as well. Never the less, we're both still looking into it xD

Ay I am still very interested! I thought of, since my mod is embedded with the Sky/SkyMat codes, of bringing the mod's codes in where the moon and/or star code is and see what happens.

As I can't do it right now, I'm not accessible to my computer and won't be for the rest of my day, however I hope to do this nextchance I get.

I though it was not possible, but I saw that post on DA and so I tried to make stars only to appear at night, but i spent half of the day with no luck at all.
I don't know well enough how FH works with the sky to be able even say if its possible or not.

Well unfortunately, placing the mod's code with the moon/star code does not work, it doesn't even show up as if it were never there.

However, the image I am using for the mod is (as said time and time before in this thread) an image with a transparent background. My only other solution is to change it to a black background and repeat the process of weaving through codes. I'm not so sure what else to do or try, as I've gone through every single code I knew (which is not many) to try to achieve the goal.

To no avail~
