Um, would be this consider as a warning?
« on: April 04, 2015, 01:58:36 pm »
I'm not trying to be held as *art theft* and get a warning becauae of that, but I was on Google trying to look for FREE lion line art by users. But then again, I'm wondering. Would it be consider as art theft? I mean, I'm only coloring in for my character...Not only that, I'll add credit

I don't think using line arts are considered as art theft, unless you need to pay to use the line art.
But if the line art is free, then you can do whatever you want with it.
You just need to credit the artist for the original lines.

Lemme give you a tip on Copyrights!
This can be used for absolutely anything, even line arts!

Feel free to refer to this thread!

if you know the lineart is free and you have rights to use it, then it's not art theft.

it's best to search for linearts on deviantart instead on google images so you know the rules to using the lineart.
