login issue

So I've made my FH account and that's fine and dandy, i also verified my email, and when i run the game it works, until i try to login. It tells you the familiar: incorrect username or password ( 5 failed attempts causes 15min ban). but here's what i noticed from other requests for help similar to mine; even when i press it 5 times and then some, i still don't get banned. no matter how many times i press login and it fails, i never get banned for it. i'm fine with it, i don't have to deal with the bans of something i cant help but that's not my problem, i just brought it up in case it could help me with fixing the game. the problem is is that i cant login no matter how hard i try. i type in every word precisely as it's supposed to be spelled as and it never works... is my download of the game broken? I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nope, the game still hates me... if some one could help that would be great

Also, is your username of sixteen characters, per chance?

oh, did i forget to mention i checked the the BIG help thread and the forum all over? yeah... not going well for me when I've looked everywhere and not once has anything worked. oh and maybe my user has 16 characters... t-h-e-l-e-g-e-n-d-a-r-y-x-h-e-r-o.... 17 characters. is that a problem in the game?

Oomph, there it be.

That's over the character limit.

They have to be below 16 I think.
You'll have to make a new account in order to have a different username with the limit in mind.
