Preset crashing Game
« on: September 30, 2015, 02:05:28 am »
I tried making a preset but, it wouldn't work except for the tail. But when I tried to fix it it ended up getting worse and crashed the game when I moved it from preset 1 folder to preset 3 folder, and I tried a lot of things. But they never worked, anyone know how to fix this?

When you moved the files from preset_1 to preset_3 did you make sure to change the file names? An example being changing the preset_1body.jpg to preset_3body.jpg . Also, if you saved your preset files as .png files then that also might be the case, and if so, try changing them to .jpg files.

I hope this helps.

Thanks but I did change them, but I did find that the eye part was a .png, so I don't really know what went wrong. I though I may have messed up of trying to get different markings on each side, I might have named those files wrong but when I tried to fix them it still didn't work, move it to preset 1 folder again still didn't work. So I am stuck.

Did you double check so the cfg code was called the exact same as the image file, as well as the format?
If you're not sure how to check if they're png or jpg, just click on them and depending on your operating system, it may show you in the folder.
Otherwise, right click on an image, click on properties and check which format it says.

Speaking of Operating systems, which one do you use?

Sometimes the images/cfg can be saved in different formats without noticing.

The eye may be png and tail jpg, for example.
In my experience, this should not effect the preset in any strange way.
