Sunrise Foxes

PLOT.
There is a great danger coming to the forest. No one knows what of, or when. We must prepare for this great danger before us.

"We will not be intimidated just because we are small."

1. When joining Sunrise Foxes, you must be literate. Your fox may be semi realistic (no eye-burning unnatural colors please) and must be of a small description.
2. Roleplays will be later announced; send me a pm if unable to attend.

1. Kings and Queens are to be listened to. This includes expecting kit-mothers.
2. Follow the rules of the Clan or be killed, attacked, or chased away.
3. Breaking the rules, lying, betrayal will lead to you being killed.
4. We are a family. We teach the young and care for the young as one.
5. A time for Gatherings always happens at midnight, when the moon is at it's highest. Other minor messages will be called at random. Everyone, save kits and old ones, must attend.
6. Anyone may have a mate, but only a leader may have many mates; they only commit him/herself to his/her other.
7. During a war, or quarrel, with another clan, Apprentices, Guards, Warriors, and Spies are required to fight.

Leaders

The leaders are often referred to as Kings or Queens unless they give permission for you to call them by their name. They give orders, hold gatherings, sometimes train apprentices, sometimes hunt for the clan, enforce rules. They are there to help you. Do not be hesitant to ask questions. When they die, either their mate will take over because there was no heir or the heir did not wish to be ruler, or Heir will take over if the mate of the dead leader does not wish to be leader.

Generals

These are second in commands. They give orders to their Warriors and train them. They send them off to scout around and sometimes go into battle, but more often not. Generals are well-experienced warriors and the oldest and wisest of warriors.

Heirs

Heirs are the offspring of the leaders. Even though the leader may have multiple mates, only one pair will be the "royal couple" and are the only ones who may have heirs. The others become kits of the clan.

Spies

Warriors generally tend to get into trouble, but not Spies. Spies are the fastest, well-hidden, quiet foxes the forest has ever seen. There do not tend to be many of them for being a Spy is a dangerous task.

Warriors

Warriors are trained apprentices by Generals. They go into battle and, even though they are now claiming the title "Warrior," they are still trained by Generals. Knowledge is something you can't learn in one life time. Get as much of it as you can.

Hunters

Hunters are the foxes who hunt and fish for food. They sometimes scavenge when no food can be found, and that is usually in the winter. The Clan must be fed first before any fox eat for himself.

Warrior Apprentices

Warrior Apprentices are foxes just out of kit-hood who train under Warriors to become a fighter. They take care of Clan errands around the dens as well as take up their responsibility as a Warrior's apprentice.

Hunter Apprentices

Hunter Apprentices are foxes just out of kit-hood who study the ways of becoming the best hunter in the forest. They also carry out den jobs as the Warrior Apprentices do.

Guards/Guardians

Guards are strong, thick-built, foxes that stand guard around the dens and keep look-out. They go into battle. Guardians are foxes who are strong, but more lean. Their job is to look after the young, old, and expecting when there is a battle.

Healers

Healers are experts in medicine. There only tend to be two or three at most as this is a rare gift among the clan. Healers tend to live longer than normal foxes.

Healing Apprentice

Apprentices just out of kit-hood that are given this divine gift that study under the Healers.

Mothers

Mothers are pregnant vixens. They care for all the kits in the nursery.

Kits

Kits are baby foxes under nine months old. They are given Apprentice titles when they reach their ninth month.

Elders

Elders are former Warriors, Hunters, Guards, Guardians, Generals, Spies who have reached the point in their life when they find themselves losing sight, hearing, or just getting old.

Kind, Loyal, Caring. He will defend his clan to the last claw. He has a side no one has seen but knows of. "Black Tier" only comes out when his clan is threatened by an unstoppable threat. "Black Tier" saves the clan, but leaves Tier's body deprived of energy and appears sickly, almost deathly.

History
He has been lied to almost his entire life. When he was a kit, his mother did not want him because he acted strange as a kit. His best friend at the time was Keolyn. And even then, Keolyn was considered a monster just because he was around Tier. Tier and Keo left the clan together in the dead of night when they were teens and eventually formed their own group. They went along collecting stray foxes that wanted nothing more to do with their clan and foxes from the city, promising them a paradise. Soon, this became a clan, with Tier at the top and Keolyn by his side. (you may use some of this for your own history such as the "stray fox picked up by tier and keolyn" part)

A white paw stepped delicately from the cave's opening. A warm sun peeked over the mountain, turning his pelt gold. Glancing around the camp, Blue eyes caught sight of a well-stocked pile of food and other foxes emerging from their den. Letting out a quick stretch and a shake to free his clumping fur, he trotted over to his well-trusted partner, Keolyn. "Things going well this morning?" He took a seat beside him and scratched at an annoying tick behind his ear. Regular routine for this ref fox for every morning since three years ago when he ran away from his clan with Keolyn by his side. Suddenly he froze, leg still up in the air ready for another scratch. His eyes widened as he gazed out into the horizon. Keolyn was saying something in a concerned voice but Tier was unable to hear what it was he said. A dark shadow crept over Tier's face before he blinked, coming out of his daze as he panted. "Keo," Tier turned sharply around, his fur standing on end. "There's great trouble coming. We have to save the clan."
