Booting Problems
« on: December 11, 2015, 04:47:15 am »
*sigh* I realize other people are having this same problem, but, basically, I haven't been able to play my game for the entire week, It only ever crashes immediately when I try to start it up... I doubt it has anything to do with duplicate files, since I fixed that problem about a month ago, or the recent hackings, but is there any solution out there other than reinstalling/downloading...? It is so tiresome and bothersome, and if the problem is just going to continue, I don't even want to try a hundred times in the future. The game itself is separate from everyone else's, so it can't be the downloaded files that are affected. Help?

Seeing as you're crashing, it must have to do with some type of files not being correct.
Have you downloaded or exported any custom maps recently?
If so you may wanna check the particles folder for any files ending with _0 _1 etc. Those would be duplicate files and may cause crashes.
RETIRED.

Well, here's the other problem... There IS no particles folder... In fact, the only folder I have is the exports folder... No wonder it wouldn't open... I'm missing a majority of the files I need! Well that sucks... I have no idea where in the world they went... I've looked a little bit, but no sign of 'em yet. I'll probably have to get new ones.
Well, now it's all done and fixed, I reinstalled the game to get the folders back and got everything back into it's proper places, thanks for your suggestion, everything is back running smoothly, now I know for the future when and why the crashes might happen. Although it's still a mystery what happened to the folders.
