After update, I can't get past the loading page.

I can log in and connect to the front server and choose the character I want to play as... but when I click start and the loading screen (with the pictures) comes up, it seems to get stuck on that. I've waited 10 minutes for it to load and nothing is coming up.

It most likely because of many players trying to get on at the same time. Just be patient, and wait a while.

Yes, I'm having the same problem. Just wait it out an hour or two, and it should calm down.
There have been record-breaks in the player count today, after all.

Try resetting your character via the site so you're in the new version of Lonley cave.
