Are you talking about FeralHeart? If so, I'm not sure that's the correct download.
I'd recommend installing uTorrent and then following the Torrent download on the Update thread.

I downloaded the torrent but when I download the new verison of FH it doesn't download it says it isn't commonly downloaded and windows 8 won't run it because of it not being.

Try giving the webpage setup a try.
It put everything where it belonged for me and maybe it'll help you problem if nothing else works?
