Well, first off, you need to download the game. Found here.
Download both the game and patch, and start up FH. If you have any problems with it, be sure to head over to the Help Board.

How do I change my avatar?  ~(O^O)~

You can change it by going to your profile-> then Forum Profile Information. You'll see it there. ^^ Upload a 100x100 picture, and you're good.

You can also change your signature by doing the same thing.
It doesn't matter what you put in it. It could be a quote, your character's picture, links to your art page, ect. Yoou can be creative.
