Emorejibaker and I resolved the issue via PM (be sure not to use the numpad when typing in numbers, friends!), so I'll be locking up this topic.
I do want to point one thing out, just so that there isn't any false information going around. c: Someone mentioned account recycling, but this should not have any affect on an issue like this, and accounts don't technically recycle. You can recycle accounts by changing usernames (recycling the usernames), but accounts themselves do not work like this. In terms of recycling an activation e-mail, we don't have a reactivation currently set up, so if you are unable to activate the account shortly after creating it, your best option is to create a new account, until a new one is implemented.~
