Game keeps un-installing?
« on: June 18, 2018, 03:02:43 am »
This is the second time that Feral Heart has uninstalled from my computer without me doing anything. The icon just disappears from my desktop, and then when I try to open the program another way, it says the program is no longer available. Any clue why this is happening?

do you use windows 10? has your computer recently updated? it's heavy antivirus program built into the system can uninstall programs without your permission if it's considered outdated or incompatible. it also deletes unsigned programs (programs without a publisher name added to it). the recent FH update doesn't seem to be signed.

try running the compatibility troubleshooter via right click on the .exe file, going to properties, and going in the compatibility tab and clicking "run compatibility troubleshooter". if that doesn't help, try making feralheart an exclusion to windows defender (and your firewall if that doesn't help).

Win10 does that because whoever designed it lacks morals.  i have to make a new short cut to make FH work every time, but it's an easy enough fix.
The Japanese concept of wabisabi:
The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?
"Because it was my favourite & I like it"
