New and overwhelmed socially

Hey there! I played a little bit of Impressive Title, but I had such difficulty integrating into the existing community I felt like I would have a better time here with Feral Heart. My first question is how to I make the camera zoom out-outside of the movie maker, that is. I prefer to play games with my camera further away from my character. Also, how can I rotate the camera for a screen shot without turning my character's head away from the camera? And lastly, does anyone have some advice with a newbie to this social scene! I just logged on, made a character and successfully made it in game-only to be bombarded by spam and a lot of unpleasant, unwelcoming chat-apart from being ignored entirely when I tried to make pleasant social gestures! ((Saying hello, saying I was new and posing general questions.)) Please help! SOS! Anyone!

PS-You'll probably see a lot of me on the forums, especially if the game community I encountered is the rule, and not the exception!

I'm sorry for the "unpleasant" welcoming. I'm afraid to say that FH is a completely different game compared to IT, and the amount of people is something you need to get used to.

There's a lot going on inside the game. And I could probably go on for days why things are like they are. But I wont.

As you edited, the documentation part helps if you're know. And from that on it's pretty much learn by doing. It's a fairly simple game actually if you just want to play around.

Thank you for the support! Through a little trial and error I found out how to access different zones, that my 'middle button'/'scroll wheel' doesn't work to zoom out with my touch pad (I'll plug in my mouse to try next.)
