Tearless's Presets (Currently CLOSED)

Those are some awesome presets!
(Btw, Lumagrowl is from Bakugan, a show that's pretty much Pokemon and YuGiOh having a love child.)

Hate to be curious, but what texture did you use for the hair/mane?

I got a mane mod a while back (and a wolf mod, which is the texture I used for the canines), I think it's Sully's. I'm working on making my own textures so I can stop using his/hers and Omega's.

I made my own but it just makes my lions manes and other stuff darker

Hey Tearless, I'm in love with your presets, especially Donovan. I was just wondering if you can give me a few tips on how you did the reddish/orange part on his face.. I've been trying to do that to one of my characters though its not working out for me. You can PM me if you'd like it private? :3

Not a problem, I don't exactly have some sort of big secret (and my PM seems to be busted) ^_^ I work entirely in Photoshop with the basic hard/soft brushes. If I recall, for the fire I started with red, on a large soft brush at low transparency, then added layers of orange, gold, and pale yellow at smaller brush sizes (still really low transparency). Once that was all where I wanted it I went back and smudge-tooled the edges a bit in places just to tweak some of the swirls and added some flecks of dark/black throughout. And that is my hopefully un-confusing and long-winded explaination.

How do you mean? What about the manes did you want to know?

Like,I wanna do the hightlights in them..cuz you make the Manes in your presets look.."Whole" and not kinda Transparent :3

I am so sorry for the delay, guys, especially those who requested Haloween presets. Life suddenly got extremely hectic for me and I've had to put of any preset making. I'll try to get back on it as soon as possible, but real life needs to come first at the moment. Again, my sincere apologies for the wait.

Kovuo: With the highlights it's a matter of trial and error for me, but for Newton I put a small blonde splotch just left and upwards of the middle. The trancparency issue can be fixed with coding, and I believe you can still find it in the forums somewhere.
