Map crashes when i type in terrain file?

 So sorry if there is a thread for this, but i got to go soon and i need this fixed pretty soon. OK i have a height map, and it seems everytime i type it in it crashes, yes its 512X512, yes its greyscale, yes its one layer, and yes its PNG. any tips to get it to work? no there are no symbols in it either, its all letters.

ok either you need to check if its really one layer, or if its in grayscale. this happens to me every once in a while cuz i make mistakes. if a pop up comes on after it crashes read it and see

i double checked, and it seems to have a wall and my terrian is completely messed up, might have to remake it >.< everything is right on it, infact i triple check everytime i make a height map/.

and the other height maps i have are 512 by 512 and work o.e

Wel, did you make it 513 by 513 and try it? ....
