Mmm, layering markings? I like that idea.
In the way of deer and horses, I'm not too fond of the idea. There is a reason that the game is called Feral-Heart. However, I think that a lot of people do just fine crating their own deer and horses via presets or even just well done proportions.
More realistic characters: I like this idea as well. Right now they're just far too cartoonish for me. However, I found the Feralistic wolf textures to be a bit strong... some medium to be found, perhaps?
I just wanted to clarify. This is the definition of the word 'feral' according to the college dictionary I own: "
adj 1. wild, or existing in a state of nature, as animals (or sometimes plants).
2 having reverted to the wild state, as from domestication." According to this definition, anyway, can not deer and horses fall under the category of 'feral'?
However, I do agree with you in that there shouldn't be deer or horse models available in Character Creation, at least not for a while. I made a few deer characters myself (those item/marking packs really come in handy) and it's all good fun, but I have encountered the occasional 'powerplayer.' "bites deers neck" "rips deers throat out no miss" I'm personally not bothered by these people (they can't really hurt me anyway), but I'm sure other players would be and it would create more problems than it would solve.
