Yeah, I never expected that people who felt that way would be on the forum considering all the RP here, and I have NEVER seen anyone have an issue with it on teh forum before... I thought those here on teh forum were RP friendly and such.

Nope. Nor should people care if others prefer to roleplay as a character not their own gender.
Honestly, it's a game, for crape's sake.
And just as stated before, saying that people should only play characters their own gender is like saying people should only play as actual people.

It's completely and utterly acceptable in my eyes, it's a game where you can make different characters, that's the whole point.

And people are missing it.

I'm really new here,but I think it's okay to have a male character if your a female or a female character if your a guy.
There's nothing wrong with that :/

I don't see anything wrong with it, I do it myself. I never get that, even though my username is 'artistgrl' (either they don't care of don't put connect the dots that 'grl' is 'girl'). People do what they want, and create opposite gender characters. I don't understand how this bothers people.

I also make male characters.  It's weird to see a female lion with a mane xD  But I use video game chars that are mostly guys  So I don't get why people would have a problem with it.  Well it could freak them out xD  I don't have any problems with it
