Front/Hind Leg sliders would be good. Some species have longer hind/front legs. And a belly slider, when you see hyenas they look like they are chubby.

I wouldn't say remove them, someone could then go walking around with a tall, but paper thin canine/feline. Which would defiantly scare some people. xD But defiantly they could be changed. ^^
