Naruto, Pirates of the Caribbean, Full Metal Alchemist, Sonic, Kingdom Hearts, Bleach, Final Fantasy ect...
Okay now you're probably wondering why I listed the few of my favorite animes, games, and movies. Well it's not really because their my favorite things, but its the fans (I think mainly the fangirls) that have a huge problem with that one character... the female character. Let me explain a bit more, Naruto for example has the pink hair girl Sakura... not alot of people like her. Why? Well she was kind of a butt to Naruto int he first or second episode ( I mean he asked her out on a date and she turned him done by saying he was annoying and I think a few other insults.
For those who are fans or watched a couple of the episodes know what I'm talking about.) She's not exactly my fav character either (I didn't really watch all of the episodes but i know int he first season she pretty useless, not much fighting or helping int he battle and she constantly flirted with the boy Sasuke. :I ) Not tryign to bash on you Sakura fans out there but I'm sure you've notice alot of hate from anti-Sakura fans, especially in FanFic. I know there is some good FanFics out there like... 5 or 10% of the time (you just gotta look and hope lol), but I noticed there's plentiful of girl
bashing in mostly anime.
I didn't think much of it till I saw alot of hate at bashing on this one girl character from an anime I can't remember the name. Then I checked the other animes (on youtube) scroll down you'll see a few bashings on a female character saying she's annoying, useless, whines and cries alot. You'd probably seen alot of this in pairing vids, it plagues the Sonic universe. Go to SonAmy vid and there's a chance you'll see 'ewww amy!', 'amy sucks!', or 'amy's a slut'. Basicly get rid of the name amy and put any othe girl character's name from a movie, anime, or T.V show. I know, 'it's just a character people have disagreements on what character is the best and their favorites.' Well I know, but I mostly see it go to the girls that get the worst :I.
Take this as as a exmaple, it was on DA i believe and this girl and I were having a chat on about Pirates of the Carribean ( lets just call it POTC for short lol). She kept saying that she hated Elizabeth Swan, I asked her why and she said " She's annoying! And a Whoe
Will can do much better than her!" now I don't have a problem with Elizabeth, i was kinda annoyed when she was kidnapped and was automatically the dame in distress (though i do admit had to take a lot of guts to stand up to a pirate :3 ) , but i began to like her more when she became tough and start swigging a sword kicking some butt
. I told the girl this and just stated a yea whatever and added on that Elizabeth was a mary sue because she's the pretty girl that everyone wants and needs to save. Well lol I find that a funny because she told me earlier that she loved the original disney movies of Cinderella, Snow White, and Beasty and the Beast. Aren't those dinsey princess a bit mary sueish too? Their so beautiful that everyone likes them even the animals and as for Belle (beaty and the beast) the furniture XD . I have nothing against the old disney movies is till enjoy them today I'm just making a point. So back to the point, I asked her about Capt' Jack and low and behold "AJNVJKVBJVBH I LUV HIM <33333!!!111!!11!" and being a bit of a smart butt i said "But he's good looking to does that mean he's a larry sue too?" she said no (plus a few other negative words .-. ) and after a few other disagreements she left.
I think to myself, if I were to make a male character and he was outgoing, good looking, and teaser would he be liked by the fangirls? And if i make a female character who was good looking, outgoing, and also a teaser would she have fans? I have yet to test it out, but I am eager to see my results.
Though i do have my share of disliking some girl anime charatcers like this one from Air matser (it's pretty good with a few giggles :3 ). The main character is a tall red head girl how have tag along gal pals and one of them is black haired, big boobied (lolz) girl. I forgot her name but what I do know is that she int he begin (i say first few episodes) she was an okay character, she was shy and very selfconscious especially of her obvious assets, she was probably the closest one to the main character (thats my opinion), but then all of a sudden she turns out to be... well annoying and even considers the main character her girlfriend (main character didn't really agree to it no did she disagree lol ). I think she even messed up a fight .-. . But int he end none of the air master watchers really liked her after she turned into a sudden... i don't wanna call her a (female dog lol don't really wanna curs eon here), but she was becoming a bit of a cry baby. This was basicly my face everytime busty girl showed up: .____. . yea...
What I'm trying to say, I guess, is that are most of the female characters bashed because... welll just because their a female? I can understand a good reason, seriously if any of you watch or no much about sonic you must know about cream the rabbit, people even call her a slut and whore. What? How is a rabbit, who is suppose to be an underaged child a slut and a whore? .-. . Or how some independent female characters (which i love most by the way) a considered a (female dog lol), I mean i run across fangirls that just hate a girl character simply because she's ina relationship with a guy that just so happen to be their fav char... i mean really you hate her because she's ina relationship with your fav char? What's next are you gonna make FanFic that has the girl char evil and you make a selfinsert OC to kill her and you and guy char get married and... oh wait you already did that? .-. ok then..... if only you people knew how many Naruto and Kingdom hearts FanFics I come cross with that B.S T_T
I've been hated on before because I didn't like a certain female character I think from Kingdom Hearts, I don't hate her she's just not my favorite. Kiari is her name. The Kiari fans started flaming me because I was and still am, into yaoi. Just because I'm a yaoi fangirl doesn't mean I hate every female character int he universe, I know a few that do but im not one of them. And I do see that happen in yaoi fans...alot T_T the moment a female char shows up most the yaoi fans are like "amdknjdsnfdfn u a gurl u suck!" ironic because the majority of us yaoi fans are girls :T
