((Karma: -Recovering from her drunken state and places an ice pack to her head- Ow...
-See's what Xander's doing and roughly throws a cup with her "punch" in it at him, Cross, and anyone else around him.-

Her teeth bared before she realized they were doing so, and though she managed to wipe it away a dark look had come over her visage. Electric irises met emerald ones, and for the longest time Karma did not answer. Once more feelings and thoughts were whirling inside her that she could not say anything until it died down, or if she pushed through them. "Why do you care?" she wanted to say, maybe even harshly, though she found herself she couldn't.
Mind clearing, Karma made herself try to relax and keep cool, to think before acting as always. "No," she answered in monotone. "I don't hate him as a person. But I do hate how he feels towards me, 'loves me' as you put it." Giving a silent scowl, Karma was now having a harder time to hide the anger that had been boiling inside her. Shifting her form, once more she looked away from Thirteen to gaze off into the distance.
"To me I think he's being foolish and like most males out there. He flirts with females and likes having attention from the opposite gender, Cross hasn't been here that long and already wants his attention, even though he had attacked her. Also I could see clearly the affection he still has toward Kali. I can't say what they were like together in the past, but he had cared very deeply for her and when she broke his heart it left him in a wreck." Here Karma's voice became more gentle, though serious. "I believe his mind and heart are still confused. He hates her but still wants her. Truth be told, I don't really think he has feelings toward me at all, but with the state his heart is in he would be fine with any female attention."
Raising her eyes, she met the feline's gaze once more, her thoughts and feelings hidden behind an impassive mask again. "That's why I hate that he loves me because I cannot find any solid truth to it or loyalty. But I do not hate him as a person because it wasn't his fault, his heart had been scarred. But I also hate that I have been stuck in the middle of this, to feel guilty that I'm not able to return the favor because of my doubts and-"
Karma stopped abruptly. Her eyes closed and a tired sigh escaped her, but she said no more. The silvered black female had purposely avoided the third question the feline had asked her, she couldn't answer it for no answer came to her. Again the feelings and confusion flooded her and she focused on pushing them away, she hoped now that Thirteen would leave her be on the subject and think nothing much of it. Karma hadn't meant to reveal so much in the first place.

Dusk seemed more pleased with the fine, he even allowed his tail to give a light wag. "Perfect," he commented, coming over to the pile to add his herb-findings to it. "This should be enough to keep up our strength at the very least. Lets bring them back to the others."
Grabbing the herbs he picked, careful not to bite or slobber over them, he placed them on a fairly flexible leaf, wrapping this up in a kind of mini-bag. Holding this to the side of his jaw where the herbs wouldn't be damaged, he began picked up the smaller of the prey until his mouth could hold no more. Leaving the bigger finds, such as the fish and quell, he began making his way back to their "campsite". As he did so, Dusk sniffed the air and watched intently for enemies, keeping in mind the enemy pack that was still after them. So far all had been quiet, though to be honest this seemed to unnerve him more.
