Xander felt uneasy as he heard Karma approaching, but he did not look back, he even ignored her. That was until she spoke to him. This shocked the silver male greatly, but it also annoyed him. How she could just pretended that everything she spat at him was just some tiny argument was beyond him. Though even he could not deny, it was pleasant to have her speaking to him again. ."Darn you..." She panted, Xanders black eyes twisted to her shoulder, watching the blood ooze from her wound. It made guilt roll in his stomach, but it also made him lust for violence. For a second, it almost seemed like Xanders eyes held a crazed, blood thirsty look. He wanted nothing more than to slice Kali's flesh open for what she had done. But Karma had already done so, and even he knew that at the sight of Kali, Xander became as weak as a rabbit.

As she explained that she did not just earn those wounds for nothing, Xanders mind wandered elsewhere. He looked disappointed, not with his pack mates, but disappointed with himself... "Your right, I should have just let them kill me in the first place, I was a coward for running," He hissed, his eyes fixed on the route ahead. Xander knew that he "should" be dead right now.  "But its too late for that now,"
 
Then Vanth said something that lightened his heart a little. His eyes gazed at the demon like female and lightly smiled at her. But he still said nothing, though his eyes seemed to say enough. He was beginning to slide out of his depressive mood and back to his own self, he held his head a little higher and his stance was much more like himself.

The sweet smell of water reached Xanders nose, he lifted his snout to the sky and glared into the distance. Oh how he longed to leap into the liquid. "I can smell a river or lake...I suggest we rest and wash our wounds before continuing," Though his voice was serious and sounded very formal, suddenly he turned around and looked at his pack mates with his normal shiny black arrogant eyes and smug smirk. It looked like Xander was back to being Xander...

Karma was going to say more, but already she had used up all the breath she could spare. Besides, Vanth had spoken to Xander and it seemed to have done the trick and the silvered female managed to feel grateful. The last thing they needed was everyone to be depressed and unfocused. Slowing her pace, for keeping up with the male was too much of an effort, Karma began drawing herself back to where her brother was, even casting Vanth a 'thanks' look, though not completely friendly it was more gentler than her regular glance.

"Yes... Please!" Karma said with some relief, looking forward to a good rest and to finally take care of her wound. "We'll be able to travel faster afterwards."
Dusk helped his sister along, noting how the limping was getting worse. Though he also noticed his sibling was probably trying to hide the worse of it, and he shook his head. The sooner they stopped the better.

Vanth smiled back at Xander before nodding `Yes please. I can still taste that disgusting rat blood` she said making a disgusted face. She looked at Karma as she passed and nodded not in a very friendship way, but just to say your welcome. She lifted her nose in the air and said `I can smell it too` She looked down at him as he turned. She smiled and looked around. They looked amazingly normal. She gave him a `I got your back` look before saying `Let's get cleaned up then we can find food` she suggested. Her eyes seemed to now be light pink. Yet, her fur stayed pitch black. She felt more welcome in the pack, but still felt guarded and watched. She didn't mind though

Lorcan felt the atmosphere lighten and he wanted to feel the same... but his mind wouldn't let him, he only grunted in response to the talk of water. he fell to the back of the pack limping heavily.(Writers block)

Though Karma fell towards the back of the pack, he still stayed in front, his nose still high and searching. He felt that even though their pack did not have a alpha, he was the more dominant of the group, though he did not see this as a good thing, as the only reason he had such status is because he was the one they had fought for and he was the one who knew most about the worlds horrors. Guilt began to roll in his stomach again, but he pushed the feeling away, he was not going to let his depressive mood reattach itself to him and the others.

It was not long until the trees began to thin and the smell of water was stronger than ever. The white and grey male glanced back at his pack mates, the pleasant smirk on his jaws soon faded. His eyes gazed at the siblings, Dusk was clearly trying his best to support Karma as she limped onwards. A second wounded wolf was behind them, it was Locran, his white coat splattered with crimson and he also held a steady limp. "Not long now...just a little farther..." He promised them as he continued onwards. Xanders eyes rolled to Vanths now violet eyes, she held a happier expression. She clearly was beginning to feel more welcome.
 
Xander suddenly stopped, his eyes fixed in front of him, a smile etched on his handsome face. He had seeked not to disappoint, and knew he hadn't. The lake was beautiful, trees provided shade and a small cave provided shelter. The water looked crystal clear and perfect for both drinking and cleaning in. "I think we should rest here for the..." Xander was about to say night, but then he realized time did not move. When was it time to sleep or wake up? "Time being,"

Vanth smiled at Xander as he glanced at her but also smiled to herself. A while ago the rush of the fight had warn off and her left front shoulder sent a sharp pain through her body every time she took a step. She did her best to hide it and was successful so far. She limped slightly but it wasn't to bad. The pain was far worse. It was the worst pain she had ever felt. She suspected her leg had been broken when Cyris slammed her against the cave wall. She just hoped his neck still hurt. She made a pain-filled expression as she put too much weight on it and made a slight whimper but quickly took another step hoping no one noticed.  She smiled seeing the water. She began limping forward but soon collapsed infront of the pack. She whimpered and stood `Um...must have tripped `she said smiling `We should get cleaned up` she said heading towards the water

((@Luna: I think we're waiting for awhile, I posted with Cyris asking Kali a question so can't really post yet until she answers xD))

There were no complaints from either sibling. Karma would have spoken or gave a nod to show she understood, but by now all remaining breath was out of her, and the wound on her shoulder had become so numbed with pain it felt more like harden skin, the area around the wound had started becoming raw and she couldn't move her head an inch. Carefully her brother led her to the water straight away, not yet allowing her to pause or stop. Coming near the edge, Karma immediately went into the water (a little further up so no one had to drink a dirty and blood stained liquid).

A sigh of relief came from the she wolf as the water cooled her off, even with time frozen it was refreshing. The pain in her shoulder throbbed for a moment then began to sooth, feeling was returning to it. Dusk helped clean out the wound, not really liking what he was seeing but relieved that it hadn't become tooserious.

"Would herbs still work with time frozen?" he asked the others coming back to the shore. Karma remained behind to continue cleaning out her wound, only half listening. "Would the healing process still work or would that be frozen along with everything else? I can go search for some to help everyone heal though there won't be much point if they don't work." Though he had said "everyone" the only ones who really seemed in need of them were his sister and Lorcan. He himself was only mostly bruised which would heal on its own, but there were no major bite or scratch wounds upon his person.

Hearing a noise, Karma opened her eyes to see that it was Vanth walking (no, wait, limping?) toward the water. Karma held back a growl and instead went back to closing her eyes so she could relax.

Vanth watched Karma for a second before heading further down as the cautiousness hit her like a wall. She limped into the water keeping the limping as slight as possible. She sighed as the water cooled her down. She let it soak her to the bone and caused her broken bone to feel a tad bit better. She sighed stuck her head under the water and bringing it back up quickly. She shook her head off feeling the water soak through her fur. She exited the water slowly as her limping was a bit better but it would soon get worse. She stumbled a bit as the impact of the fight finally hit her. The impact of the cave wall must have shook her head quite a bit. She felt dizzy and her vision was a bit blurry but she did her best to hide it. She walked/ limped towards fresh water and lapped some up.

((I was wondering if I could point something out real quick? Just a little thought that's been bothering me.

Now, I don't mean any harm by this or offence, but I'm starting to feel like everything Vanth is doing is something that's already happened with Karma or from another character of mine or someone else's... Now, this could just be me, and maybe I'm being paranoid, but I don't know...

There have been a few times I thought: Well, okay, guess its no big deal and I'll let it slide... but now I'm starting to wonder. As I've said, the last few times were sort of small and not really important, like how back at the fight I had Karma insult Kali with the term "dog" and then Vanth used it on Cyris.

Just this time, though, it seems more than just a coincidence. After the fight, there was no mentioning of a wound or bruise on Vanth that was bothering her, and really the only major thing Cyris had time to do was toss her off him when she pounced cause afterwards he went to answer the howl. The wound on Karma's shoulder had been bugging her but she was trying to hide it and push onward. Now that they come to a stop, Vanth suddenly has: "...left front shoulder sent a sharp pain through her body every time she took a step."  and I quote. And, just as I was having Karma do, she was trying to hide it: "..She did her best to hide it and was successful so far. She limped slightly..." and: "She began limping forward but soon collapsed infront of the pack. She whimpered and stood `Um...must have tripped `she said smiling"

I don't know, again maybe I'm being paranoid and its just a coincidence, and again I'm not accusing anyone or mean offence, it was just something that's started bothering me...))
