((-Fails to see how Xander is the only nice one- XD
No offense to Xander, but as Luna mentioned he's Bipolar and very narrowly tried to kill Cross, lol. And from previous posts Lorcan was more kind than everyone else, and Dusk and Karma are only mean if the person did something to deserve that sort of reaction xD
Also, that song was really good o.o
Never heard of it before until now haha.
~New color change!~))
Dark irises only shifted their gaze away from Xander only when Lorcan spoke, and only for a minute. The silver-grey male knew, of course, he was right, he knew what could happen right from the start. And that was what made Dusk different, even in anger he still had control of himself. Every fiber of his being wanted him to strike Xander down, but only he and he alone was in control. It was why Karma didn't interfere.
"I should attack you," Dusk finally spoke, and his voice was ominously calm. Only the storm-filled irises and tense shoulders, along with an occasional flick of his tail, betrayed his real emotion. "And I'm very tempted to do so. But, unlike you, Xander, I am not a slave to my emotion, to my bloodlust. You allow yourself to be drawn into your rage, to the taste of blood, and therefore your spirit is weak. I can see the fear of yourself clearly in your eyes, and the desire to change, but if you were so easily drawn back to your past self by a simple act, then forgive me if I start doubting your true intentions. If you truly desire to change, and fear for everyone's sake around you, I would of expected a better fight from you."
Dusk gave a pause to let the words sink in, which he took advantage of by taking a quick deep breath through his nostrils. Releasing it the same way, the anger that showed in his eyes dimmed slightly, and tense shoulders relaxed. He blocked out any other distractions from his mind, keeping his focus mainly on Xander, only allowing himself to be alert of the other's movements. Slowly he turned away from the white and grey male, heading back to his sister, but there was one more thing he needed to say.
"If you expect to lead this pack," once near enough Karma, he paused and shifted his form so he faced Xander once more while being by his sister's side. "You'll first need to keep control of yourself."
Karma observed the scene with different eyes. The anger had left her, and her eyes were softened by sadness, sadness and displeasure. The fem's head was still held high, sitting beside her brother while her tail was wrapped around her paws. Brows were slightly lowered, and she had been looking at Xander the whole time Dusk had his say, but now she looked away. Now she was looking toward Vanth, for she caught the growls coming from the demonic female and the uneasy movements she was making.
Eyes narrowing a bit, Karma rose back on all fours, taking a cautious step toward the female. "Vanth?" her voice was gentle but firm. "What's wrong?"
