((I wasn't sure what we we're going with with the whole rival pack except they were after Xander, so which ever is fine with me :p
During times like these, I just see what happens while its being RPed out, and actions happen that seem right and fit.))
Cyris paused in his steps as the vicious female came up to him, knowing he had played a dangerous card. Still, he wasn't one to loose his head, and he stared calmly back at Kali. "Calm yourself," he said in his even, echoing-like voice. "I am also of this pack, and insulting it would mean insulting myself. I was merely giving a suggestion."
His attention went to both Kali and Zero, giving a dip of his head as was proper. "Forgive me for speaking out of turn. I'll stay focused with the task at hand," crimson eyes drifted to Kali deliberately. "Would you like to take care of the prisoner, then?"

Karma had been waiting for Xander to reply, and was starting to get impatient when he at last spoke. Though what he said she hadn't expected, and blinking, she turned her head slightly with narrowed eyes, suspicious and uncertain how to take the compliment. At first Karma thought he was trying to flirt with her again, and she was about to be annoyed when there was something different in his eyes. Instead of a mischievous gleam or a smirky smile, there was honesty there, and his expression was sincere.
Slowly the suspicious look relaxed and a smile replaced it, her attention going back to the male. Like Xander, she didn't say a "thank you," but the appreciation showed upon her visage.
The sound of a bark also caught Karma's attention, her's and Dusk's both. They looked in the direction and also tasted the air, a nervous sensation coming over them. "I'll go get him," Dusk said, slinking across the rocks. His eyes kept scanning the area, stopping now and then to avoid prying eyes. When he reached the button he quickly went to the trees where the source of the noise came, trying to spot the other male.
