Ace walked through the dense brush with his tail covered in thistles and small branches, he had been walking all day and started to feel the wearyness of dehydration. Ace's pitch black eyes surveyed the opening in the forest, his eyes squinting as the sun's rays ran across his face. He quickly snapped his head back and perked his ears as he heard something rustle in the bushes a few feet away, but found it only to be a small bird. Ace shook his head as he came up onto a small rivet. This was his life? Always being paranoid about something following him, always on the run? He quickly drank from the rivet to quell his longing for water and continued on his way down the seemingly never ending tree line.

Vanth soon gave up on hiding her pain and held her paw off the ground. She looked at the pack around her. Karma wading in the water, Xander clearly watching her, Dusk and Lorcan ,all of them...they looked like a family. She lowered her head thinking. She had never really had a real family though the other pack was her *family* they never acted like it, here atleast they sometimes acted like it. She raised her upper lip and growled low to herself as the thought of the other pack made her blood run cold. Her eyes slowly began to darken red as she turned and limped towards the forest. `I'm going for a walk ..` she yelled though it didn't seem very believable ` To see if I can find an old den..or something` she added limping past the first bit of forest and deeper into the foliage.

((@Nuclear: Just a quick note, everyone but the wolves are frozen in time, so a bird wouldn't be able to make any noise cause its frozen haha ^.^;))


Dusk eye's had narrowed slightly at Xander at the distant look he had, taking awhile to answer the question. He waited patiently for the response, but kept the look. Though at the next suggestion, a look of uncertainty came across Dusk's eyes. Looking back at the three (his sister, the injured Lorcan, and the former enemy) he wasn't sure about leaving his sister alone with Vanth with an injury to her shoulder. Though he knew Karma could still take care of herself, and besides he still wasn't completely sure of Xander yet, either.

"Alright," he finally answered, turning back to the male. "I wouldn't mind the help. We shouldn't have to move too far ahead, either. Since we're near a water source, there should be plenty of plants nearby."

"Whoa whoa whoa," Karma lifted her head up slightly from the water and looked toward Vanth, brows lowering. "Sorry, but you're going to have to stay here where we can watch you. Remember, you were an enemy, we're not just about to let you go off on your own where you may go back to the pack and tell them our location."

Vanth stopped and sighed `Fine, I will stay.` she said turning and limping.  `Let me ask you something first. How am I supposed to prove to you I am not an enemy if you never give me any chances to? You must take risks you know. After what they did to me I would never return to them` she said limping towards a large oak. She laid beneath it and sighed as the pain subsided slightly. `I will stay only to prove I am not an enemy` She laid her head on her paws and watched as the two males talked. Everything was beginning to hit her. The pain and the reality of the situation. Time was frozen and who knows how long it would stay that way. She raised her head and asked everyone `Hey,....does anyone know why we are the only species not frozen?` she looked between the three

Ace saw figures in the distance and perked his ears. He could hear them but couldn't exactly make out what they were saying. Despite his intrest he creeped into a grove of trees hopeing they hadn't heard him yet. Yes he is a cold-blooded killer but four to one isn't just isn't his kind of fight. Ace sat there in the tree's shadow and waited for somethig to come around the corner. With his ears hearing no sounds and his nose picking up no scent he started to let his guard down.

Life was running smoothly, until this day...
Its frozen, for some reason or another... Everything is trapped in this moment, the sun no longer rises and the wind shall not cause the tree's to sway. Even the prey refuse to dash away as my jaws snap at their flesh. Us wolves are the only thing left on this planet that can move. Time its self has stopped...

(Omg I had my hair cut today and it looks awful : ( I think I might cry. Anyway, I'm going to add a surprise character If anyone has come across me using this secret character before please don't let on to who it is to the others. Tehee! )


Xander nodded as his offer to help was accepted; it would be nice for just Dusk and him to take a quiet stroll. The white and grey male began to slowly make his way around the lakes edge towards Karma, Locran, and Vanth. "Me and Dusk and just going to find some herbs, I don't think we will be long," He said, his black eyes mostly watching the silver female; thoughts and feeling began to swirl inside his head again, and for some reason it made him feel incredibly dizzy and sick. Xander quickly pushed them again, afraid of letting both the good and bad sides of the feelings leak through. His eyes switched to Locran, he knew of the white wolves amazing howl and how it could be felt instead of heard. This was a very useful skill, and now was the time it could be used. "You will howl if anything is wrong wont you? That way the other pack wont know of off our location," He said to his friend, a rather thankful but smug smirk on his jaws.

Some near silent rustle in the distance made Xanders ears self consencely perk, but he thought nothing more of it. Little did he know that they were being watched...not too far away...

Else where in the forest, a creature slid in and out of the shade of the trees and the light of the sunset. Its large curious yellow eyes searching the area, searching for the moving and alive. "Pathetic! Why did she choose the wolves? Why did she choose some stupid dogs to do her bidding?" The beast spat, its voice was sleek, sharp and feminine.

Vanth nodded to Xanders statement. She felt the pain in her leg coming back though she wasn't sure what it was. She stood and held her leg off of the ground. `I am going to get food. If you feel nervous about letting me be alone let someone come with me but I am starving` she said placing pressure on the leg. She nodded at the wolves and turned heading towards the thicker grass close to the forest

Locan nodded to the male as he spoke," Yes but if you don't find enough give it to them first," the white wolf nodded over to the females," I know how much you care for Karma," he said quietly so the others couldn't hear," Even though she is stronge I don't want to risk you losing her." Lorcan's smiled and sat down, he began wondering were Dawn had gone... did the pack get them or did she really not care about them anymore.
