((I think this pack is just awesome, despite all their differences and how much they're arguing right now, they still care for one another and won't back down xD
And it's up to them to fix the ribbons with "love and kindness," which adds a bit of irony lol.
This is one of my very favorite RPs right now <3
Also, I personally think that was a nice combat to Spades on Xander's part XD))
Karma's gaze was fixed on Vanth as she spoke, brows furrowed slightly. Not with anger or annoyance, but more of puzzlement. Her distrust toward the demonic wolf still held true, but now it began to waver a bit. Though Vanth's actions were not forgotten, the words she spoke sounded sincere, the honesty seemingly reflecting in her eyes. Even so, that one fact that she had been an enemy sprung into Karma's mind, making her aware that it all could simply be lies conjured up to gain their trust.
Her thoughts were vanquished as she remembered the other two, Spades and Cross. Eyes narrowing, a light growl rumbled from her chest, not sure if she should find Cross's suddenly defensive behavior toward Xander (even though he had just attacked her) amusing or annoying. "In order for one to be a silver tongue, they actually need skill in the art," Karma commented on Cross's sentence, unimpressed. The stranger male's claim of still coming along agitated her further, and she was about to respond when Xander spoke.
Both of the siblings glanced now at the white and grey wolf, Karma's spirits lifting. A relieved smile crossed her visage, her tail giving a light wag at his change in behavior. Dusk even looked at him differently, the anger completely gone from his eyes and returning a cocky grin. It was nice to see the male snap out of it, and to think of the pack as such. Though the two hadn't thought of it much before, they had mainly kept to the group because of time frozen and having no where else to go, they weren't really even planing on sticking around. But now, the place seemed like a home to them...
"I'll take first watch," Dusk volunteered, not really sleepy yet, maybe even restless. Normally a watch wouldn't be needed with time frozen, but with a pack after them and the sudden appearance of Thirteen, Spades, and Cross who knew what else was out there. His gaze turned to Spades, expression becoming grim. "As for you, I suggest either leaving or giving us a good reason why we should even consider allowing you to come along. So far you're an eyesore."
