Sidon chuckled and curled up to keep warm, 'She still has
not learned much about me. I will give her a few minutes head start.
'

The darkness began to fade from Alnair's vision as he awoke.
He noticed that he was no longer underwater, though he was quite
drenched. Then he noticed that his lungs didn't seem to be working. He
sat up, retching fiercely, attempting to cough up the ocean that was
filling his chest cavity.
He finally succeeded in clearing his lungs enough to inhale and he drew in a few ragged breaths, still coughing periodically. After his breathing stabilized he began to take in the area. He was in a cavern, and a fairly large cavern at that, large enough to accommodate a lake and several streams. Then he reailized that it was rather bright, despite the fact that there was nowhere for light to enter. Glancing about, he saw a multitude of gigantic mushrooms which were giving off a strange pale blue glow, obviously the source of light in the cave, "Florescent plants? What is this place," he asked aloud.
 He rose shakily to his feet, almost dropping back down as a bout of dizziness hit him, "Whoa take it easy there." Taking a few unsteady steps forward he began to try and divine just how he had come to be on the shore, then a voice rang out behind him, "Ahh, I see that you are finally awake."
Alnair whipped around, almost losing his balance and toppling over as he tried to locate the source of this voice. All he encountered however were more of the giant mushrooms. The voice chuckled, a gruff yet not unkind sound, "Careful now, you almost drowned, don't expect to be so light on your feet as usual."
"Who are you?" Alnair asked the mysterious voice, still searching for it's source.
"Please, sit down before you fall down."
Alnair relaxed a tad but remained standing, "I'm fine where I am thanks."
"Very well then."
Then Alnair noticed movement to his left, and he turned to face it. It appeared as though one of the glowing mushrooms was moving, then he saw the shape resolve itself into a canine figure. His jaw dropped open in surprise as a black wolf with glowing blue markings, the same as the mushrooms, stepped out to face him, "No...way..."

-Cheza kept swimming with the current.  Her lungs now felt like they had just shriveled up and was no longer functioning.  The water sucked Cheza in what seemed like a tunnel and she finally broke the surface.  After gasping for air and finally catching her breath, Cheza swam to shore and looked around.  She was in a tunnel with other branches of tunnels.-  "Alnair?"  -She barked and listened as her voice echoed throughout the tunnels.-

Emily sped up as she swiveled her ears listening. She didn't hear anything but kept her pace steady and fast just in case. She swiveled around a group of low bushes before tripping. She made a *humph* sound before tumbling down a hole. She finally hit the bottom after what seemed hours. The hole was quite large and well dug. She stood and shook out her fur before observing a slightly smaller hole leading into a tunnel

Sidon's ears perked up as he heard Emily's steps cease suddenly. He shot to his feet after her trail, and after a while came to a large pit in the ground with Emily's scent leading in. He thought about barking down to her but then realized that would most likely drive her off, 'Well, I suppose that the only way to go is down now.'

"Well I-" the strange wolf's ears perked in the direction of a tunnel a short ways away from them, "Hmm, is your name Alnair?"
Alanir blinked, taken aback"Wha...yeah, how did you know that?"
He nodded in the tunnel's direction, "I believe there's somebody down here looking for you."
"Oh no...Cheza..." Alnair looked at the glowing wolf, "She's down here too?"
"Yes it is a female."
Alnair stood up and shouted at the tunnel, "Cheza!"
"She won't hear you, these caverns are much too large. Only someone who's been down here a while, like me, would be able to hear."
"Then I suppose I'll just have to find her!" Alnair took off toward the tunnel mouth, leaving the other wolf behind him.
"You're going to get lost!"

-Cheza perked her ears, trying to listen for Alnair's reply.  After hearing no sounds but the trickle of water, she barked once more.-  "Alnair.  Where are you?"  -She sit down and looked at the tunnels.-  "Which one?"

Emily whimpered before jogging down the tunnel. She lowered her head as it became pitch dark. The ground was moist and dampened her paws as she trotted down the long passage way. She soon came to an opening. She walked out of it and mumbled `Wow...`. It was a large underground valley. It contained a waterfall several lakes and plants. She wasn't quite sure how but it was as though the sun was shining through the dirt down on the valley. It even had creatures though they looked like no other she has ever seen before. She slowly walked further into the valley happy she was alone.

'Well, that was rather easy,' Sidon thought as he waited in the small tunnel behind Emily. Once he had entered the underground system it had been relatively easy to track the she-wolf, as there wasn't a great deal of variation of the tunnel system. 'I will let her relax for a little bit. She seems to be enjoying this sight.' He lay down and yawned. This place held no fascination for him, and though he took great delight in the sights and smells, it was not near the most spectacular thing that he had ever seen.

"Cheza! Curse it, that guy was right, I'll never find her down here!" Alnair sat down, wallowing in his hopelessness.
"If you need help, you could try asking."
Alnair looked up in surprise and found himself face-to-face with the glowing wolf. He shouted in alarm and tumbled backwards, "Don't do that! You almost gave me a heart attack," he shouted, though he was more embarressed than anything.
"Oh, well excuse me for bothering you. I'll just be on my way," the strange wolf turned as though to leave but Alnair hopped up and ran around to stop him, "No, please wait. I'm sorry, you just startled me is all."
The other male smiled good-naturedly, "Apology accepted! Now, let's go and find your lady friend."

-Cheza looked confusingly in every direction.-  'Why can't he hear me?  I hear the echoing.  I wonder if he's gone.'  -Cheza shook the thought of that and stood up.  A loud howl erupted from her throat and she perked her ears to listen for the reply.-

Emily trotted through the new world though she knew she should be cautious about her new surroundings they pleased her. The air seemed more crisp and fresh and the plants seemed more green. She smiled and watched as an odd animal crossed her path. It had the body of a deer and the head of a bird. She walked around it quite scared before heading deeper into the foliage

(What the heck was that thing?!)

"This way!"
Alnair kept close behind the glowing wolf as he ran this way and that throughout the winding tunnels, amazed with how well he knew his way, "So you know my name, but what's yours?"
"My name is Almeisan."
"Almeisan? That's fitting."
The wolf looked back at him, still running, "What, because it means "The Shining One"?"
"Indeed." Almeisan was swift, and Alnair had to make an effort not to fall behind.
"And your name means "The Bright One". Does that suit you?"
"That's entirely subjective to the opinion of the person I'm speaking to at the time."
Almeisan chuckled and then picked up his pace, "We're fairly close. She should be able to ear you now, if rather faintly."
Alnair drew in a breath, and though it was rather difficult due to the fact that he was running, he let out a howl to signal Cheza.
