Mountain Wolf Pack

Jacob growled a bit and ran off like lightning. The male quickly ran onto a hill, the broad wolf stood in a strong posture and howled letting everyone know humans were in there territory... He looked down on Ezkeil as he was about to attack the intruders "You can do it Ezkeil.." he whispered with a serious look in his eyes.

Kodi giggled, when she put her paw down she accidentally pawed the pup a bit to hard. "Oops!" she whimpered. Kodi barked at the pup to see if the pup was a bit sad or not. A growl errupted in her throat to the pup. She didn't know what to do as she waited for the pups response. (Yes she is still learning how to be a mother xD)

Fire licked Dawn's cheek. "It's ok love... Even if you pick Rain, I will still love you more then anything or anyone in the world. And I will always be there for you, wether I'm about to die or if I'm the strongest wolf in the world. I really love Dawn, and I want you to know that." fear arose in his eyes, he really hoped that Dawn picked him but even if she picked Rain he would still love her. He gulped and kept nuzzling Dawns ears.

Dawn whines (i really wish dawn could pick both cause now i feel bad for her) "why must i hurt everyone i come into contact with?" she sobs

The puppy whimpered, then squealed.  Yipping, she squirmed and wagged her tail.

Akeila sensed that something was wrong.  Her heart beat faster, she had to intervene.. no she couldn't; what if the big brute decided that enough was enough.  Her ears twitching, she heard voices.  Scenting the breeze, she froze... Ginger.  Racing through the trees, she found the female. "Ginger, come on. I need you to find Jacob, there is another male with him, tell them I've gone "hunting" and I need them to get too the den; it's an emergency, there's hunters". Racing into the trees, she gently barked, a sound that sounded like an injured pup.  She had seen this behavior done many times before by prey, one makes the illusion that it's wounded and by doing so, it tries to save the others.  It's a sacrifice.  

(on my Grandma's farm the coyotes yell and howl, it attracts the farm dogs).  Akeila's hoping it will attract the hunters.

Kodi tilted her head wondering what would make the pup sad. I wonder what would make the pup sad.... She pushed the pup away from her and stared at the ceiling as if she was egnoring the pup but she really wasn't. A growl errupted in her throat trying to see if the pup would be sad or scared.

Ginger hoped out of the pool and nodded. She galloped to Jacob first "Jacob go to the den now!" she growled with a serious look in her eyes. Jacob tilted his head. "Now!" Ginger snarled as Jacob fledged back to the den. She swiftly ran to Ezkeil. "Follow Jacob to the den now!" she snarled at the male.    

Fire frowned "You don't darling. Please don't say that." he whimpered and laid next to Dawn. He let her cry into his chest fur. "It's ok love." he barked softly.

The pup whimpered, it's tail drooping, it sniffed, following the milk scent, it squirmed to the area where the radiation was the strongest, it's tail wagging, it yipped. 

Akeila continued to yip, like a wounded animal.  She could hear the voices, they were getting louder. Her plan was working, her tail wagging, she desperately tried to improve the act.  Holding her leg, she toppled to the ground, her fur sprawled out in every direction.  She laid there, whimpering.  She had her plan, once the voices were really loud, and the two-Legger's scent stung her nose, she would make the illusion that she was struggled to get up.

She looked down at the pup as it was squirming to her nipples. I guess this pup doesn't get sad easily! She thought with a smile. Well I can always try this. She wagged her tail and pushed the pup roughly away from her nipples and curled her lip. A quiet low growl errupted in her throat. She wanted to see if this scrared the pup or not.

(I am basing this little pup on one of the pups my German Shepherd had XD)

The puppy, being pushed away, it whimpered.  A new sound echoed in it's ears, a low growl, curling it's lip it growled, a surprisingly strong defending growl.

Kodi growled back. "Don't growl back to me missy!" she said drooping her ears. Her tail straightened, her fur bristled making her look five times larger then the pup. She didn't want to take care of a pup who gave her an attitude. "If you be mean to me I will leave you here to die." she said softly but the way she looked at the pup meant she really wasn't going to she just warned the pup. Her nipples smelled stronger, it had the scent of warm milk.

Ezkiel ignored the wolf's "command" and crept along the bushes. He became close to the humans and hid in a near by blackberry bush. He raised his hackles, and was about to attack when he caught sight of Akiela. "What are you doing?" he snarled. "Get back to the den".He hoped his order was followed as he lunged himself at the humans. His massive body like a bear pushed the human down from the human's back side. He growled and bite the human's left leg and tore a chunk from his arm. He then jumped up at the gun that was in the other human's hand and tried to rip it from the humans arm. There was a loud sound he knew it was from the gun. But he had the gun. He looked towards his other enemy he also had a gun. He didn't think twice about re-attacking the human. He lunged himself at the human bite at the neck this time. He waited. The human he had bit in the leg was reaching for the gun he had ripped from the hand of one of the men. He growled and let go of the neck he was biting and bit      
the humans hand that was reaching for the gun, the man screamed in pain. He looked back at the man with a bleeding neck. He was lying there motionless.

The pup whimpered, then squirmed, crawling towards the scent of milk, it latched onto a nipple.  Her ears flattening, she pawed and kneaded Kodi's fur, her best attempts to stimulate the flow of milk.  She whimpered, the scents of her siblings filled the air... they all left, all but mom...she loves me the young pup whimpered.  

Akeila, growled. Standing up, she growled, the sound erupting from her throat. "Trying to save your furry butt, no get out of here..." she stood there motionless, running over to Ezkeil, she body checked his shoulder. "You didn't need to hurt them, you could have just lead them off. You males are always having to kill things." Whimpering, a tear rolled down her cheek. "They may have pups that they need to feed (children)" growling. She nipped at his shoulder, "if those pups die.. it's your fault".  Curling her lips, she snarled, and bared her teeth.

(Akeila wouldn't hurt a fly, so, that's why she's so emotional about this whole incident.. the only reason, she would really fight, is if she was protecting family or loved ones..)
