Mountain Wolf Pack

Lightning jumped off of her and nuzzled her leg. He laid down on her side resting his chin on a small rock. "What would you like to do now?" he asked wagging his tail. He was still a bit sleepy from his nap he took. His eyes looked drowsy.

Jacob smiled a bit at Cassidy. "It just that I like you too." he went strait out and said it. He no longer wanted to be a shy guy towards Cassidy. He did love her, so he wanted to be truthful to Cassidy.

Cassidy looked a bit shocked at first and stood up and stared in to his eyes. She heard Logan barking outside. She looked over her shoulder to the exit of the den and then back at Jacob. "I..." She said stepping back some more. "W-Why... How do you like me?"

Logan perked his ears up seeming to be listening to the conversation. He flicked his tail and glared at the den where they were. He stood up and started trotting over there. He reached the den and said acting totally normal. "There you are, Cassidy! Is everything alright in here? You seem tense." He said sitting next to her.

Cassidy looked over at him and and whispered in his ear. "Me and Jacob are just talking. Everything is fine."

Logan nodded and walked over to entrance then stopped and looked over his shoulder and said. "Oh I almost forgot! I caught some food for you and me. Hurry before it goes bad." He joked and left the den and trotted back to the kill. He looked ticked off.

Cassidy watched him go and sighed looking back at Jacob. "I know Logan likes me too... I-I like him... He is always there for me and he treats me right. I have to admit, you are pretty funny, Jacob." She said smiling.

He sighed as Logan walked out of the den. "I just never had the chance to be with you, since Logan was always next to you. I had liked you for a long time." all his happieness seemed to go away. He flicked his tail, he wished Cassidy licked him. "I really like you, it may seem weird but I want to be truthful." Jacob looked down and looked back up at Cassidy. He just didn't know what to say.

Shadow smiled and turned around and jumped a few steps forwareds and looked behind her waging her back a Lightning Smileing her tail wagging.

He laughed and jumped up, Lightning tackled her by jumping on her back. "Haha!" he smiled wagging his tail. Dust floated everywhere. The sun blazed down on them but the trees blocked the sun, they were still in the shadows. Lightning licked Shadow's back as he tackled her.

Cassidy sighed. "I don't know what to say... I- I like you and Logan. I don't know who I like more... I'm in a love triangle..." She flicked her tail and lied down.

Logan growled to himself. He felt jealous of Jacob hearing what he was saying. He shook his head and thought: No, jealousy isn't right... He stood up and paced wondering what was going on in there. He had to know... He sat down and started to think of a reason to come inside.

Shadow smiled and licked his nose and looked deep into his eyes-"Lightning would you be my mate?" Shadow asked qwietly staireing into the depths of his eyes her blood redy eyes gleaming, Calm and serious.

Jacob smiled, he felt hope again. He walked over to Cassidy, he laid down and licked her muzzle. "It's ok, follow your heart. Your heart will soon lead you to the right wolf. For all I know it could be neither one of us." he chuckled. "Maybe another she-wolf will come around and chose me or Logan ( wink wink xD )and we all could be happy." he smiled, he tried to make her feel better.  He looked over at Logan and knew something was on his mind. Jacob looked back at Cassidy and nuzzled her neck comforting her.

Cassidy smiled a bit. (XD Lol, Lilly) "I just hope everything turns out alright..."

Logan walked inside the den. "I thought I heard growling. Come on, Cassidy I don't want the food to go back." He chuckled.

Cassidy smiled and whispered in Jacob's ear, "Bye. I'll see you later." She trotted towards Logan.

Logan ran towards the food and sat down in front of it. "Is it ok?"

Cassidy smiled and licked his muzzle. "It's perfect." She turned to him, her eyes sparkling in the setting sun, her fur shining.

"Wow..." Logan whispered staring at her seeming to block out every other living thing but her.

"What?" She asked smiling and tilting her head some.

"Your-Your beautiful..." He commented.

Cassidy smiled. "Thanks." She took some food and lied down next to Logan, her fur rubbing up against him.

Logan smiled and suddenly smelled her strong heat scent. He sniffed and wagged his tail. He was about to go to the back of her, but thought better. He lied down next to her and watched her eat the food.
