(Have Cassidy and Logan gotten to where Jacob is yet? o3o Been waiting a while XD)
Lydia turned away from Josh and lied her head down, thinking of some memories with him. In her flashbacks, she remembered learning to hunt with him. He carried his head high and taught her wonderfully with no signs of giving up. She was a tough student. When he taught her to fight, he nearly killed her with work. She kept making little comments from exhaustion, but he never got annoyed once with her or gave up on her. As the memories faded and Lydia went back to reality, she sighed flattening her ears against her smooth head. "We used to have great times as pups." She said lying her head on the grass.
Josh looked over at her. "Yeah. It seemed like I worked you to hard when I taught you how to hunt and fight..."
Lydia whined and nodded as another terrible flashback came by. It was her and Josh standing in the middle of the pack and Josh was telling Lydia to do her best. She remembered why they were there, and it was to show off what Josh had taught Lydia. To start with hunting, she failed it miserably. She missed the rabbit and fell in the river when chasing down a calf. Moving on to the fighting, she lost almost immediately. She tripped on a stone and hit her head on a rock and the other wolf was the winner by doing nothing. The picture faded and Lydia looked at Josh and stared into his eyes. "C-Could we try again?"
Josh blinked. "You want to work? That doesn't sound like you." He said grinning.
Lydia smiled some. "Yes. I want to fix what I messed up. I can't get those flashbacks out of my mind now."
Josh sighed. "We can try again, yes. Do you think you can do it this time?"
Lydia immediately nodded as fast as her head would let her move.
Josh laughed. "Alright. You seem pretty confident. Do you wanna do it right now, or wait until the storm passes?"
Lydia looked at the entrance to the den and walked over and looked outside. Her eyes widened as she saw swirling in the clouds with hail falling on Lydia's head and the rain coming down hard, the wind blowing and howling. She turned to Josh and told him. "The tornado is coming..."
Josh's eyes went huge and looked as though they would pop out of his head. His heart frighteningly skipped a beat and he froze.
Lydia shook her head pushing all the horrible thoughts out of her mind and yanked him up and bent down then bit his leg. "Run you moron!" She barked.
Josh shook his head and hit Lydia outside with his side and ran over a hill and disappeared.
Lydia followed close behind still sniffing and keeping her eyes on the swirling storm. She easily outran Josh and she looked over her shoulder and saw him panting. She growled and stopped. "Climb on my back and hold on tight with your teeth or nails. I don't care."
Josh slowly climbed on her back and grabbed the back of her neck with his teeth and he closed is eyes from fear.
Lydia growled and snapped. "Don't be a whiny baby or I'll leave you out here!" She took off running as fast as a stallion. She looked in the direction of the tornado. Her eyes widened as it hit the ground. She changed course and ran the opposite direction of the tornado. She suddenly stopped almost making Josh fall off. "The pack!" She whined looking to the left. The tornado was heading their way. She whined and then told herself. "Get a grip! Go save the pack you moron!"
Josh opened his eyes. "You talkin' to me, Lydia?"
Lydia barked. "Now's not the time, Josh! Keep your mouth shut and hold on!" She took off towards the pack as fast as her feet would carry her. She stepped far and almost jump/ran so she wouldn't trip.
Josh let go and barked. "What are you doing?!"
Lydia looked at the tornado and knew this was stupid. She headed towards it. It was a quicker way to the pack. The tornado tore apart the trees and grass and even the little den they were inside. She slowed down realizing the power of the tornado but kept going no matter how scared she got.
"Your crazy! Get away from the tornado!" He hopped off her back and watched her run ahead.
"I would run away if I were you, Josh! I need to get the pack!."
Josh told himself. "Follow your sister you clump nugget!" He ran after her trying to keep up. He leaped far and high to avoid the damage done by the tornado. He felt a backdrop and his fur pulled furiously towards the tornado.
Lydia panted and started running towards the left a bit to keep herself from getting sucked in the tornado. She looked over her shoulder and saw Josh right behind her. She looked at the tornado and saw it start heading their way. "Josh run faster!" She barked over the howling wind.
Josh looked over his shoulder seeing the tornado and he put on a burst of speed and ran ahead of Lydia.
Lydia ran right beside him and kept looking over her shoulder as the tornado picked up speed and headed closer and closer to them. Lydia looked at Josh with sad eyes. She knew this was the end. She kept running though as tired as she was.
Josh looked at her and his eyes said. "See you in Heaven..."
Lydia whined and looked over her shoulder. The tornado was almost on top of them now. The force of the tornado dislocated her shoulder it was so powerful. She yipped and held her paw up off the ground and ran at her normal speed anyways. Her shoulder ached now and she had an idea as the territory came in sight. The tornado seemed like it was targeting them. She howled as she ran telling her pack members to run as far away and as fast as they possibly could. They howled back and to her relief she saw them running faster then ever before. Lydia's eyes widened as she didn't see Cassidy or Logan. She caught up with the pack along with Josh and barked. "Where are Cassidy and Logan?!?" They replied saying they went to find Jacob. Her eyes widened even more as she thought of them all.
Cassidy looked at the sky and whined saying to Logan. "It looks pretty bad..."
Logan nodded. "The tornado already hit. I could tell by Lydia's howl."
Cassidy stared at him. "It already hit?! And how did you hear Lydia?!"
Logan didn't reply as he looked ahead thinking what could have happened to Lydia and the other members of the pack. He felt scared.
