(Screw the color. Lol) Lydia sat down in front of Logan and looked around hoping Josh found something else to do besides try and kill Logan. She whined and bit remembering how strong Josh was.
Logan looked up at her. "Are you okay, Lydia?" He asked tilting his head a bit.
Lydia looked down at him and then lied down on her stomach. "Y-yes." She answered slowly and unsure.
Logan got up and lied down next to her. "What's wrong?" He asked her nuzzling her cheeks.
Lydia sighed and looked at him. "Josh told me I had to stay away from you or he'll kill you."
Logan looked confused. "Why would he try to kill me? Did I say something to him?"
Lydia shook her head. "He says that he thinks you'll take advantage of me and try to mate before I'm ready." She still looked a bit worried and she saw Josh in the distant trees watching them. Lydia buried her head in Logan's soft fur.
Logan sighed. "I would never do that, Lydia." He looked at the trees in front of him and saw Josh glaring at him. He swished his tail and looked at Lydia, ignoring the fact tat Josh was coming over.
Josh watched for a little while and then quickly started trotting towards them. When he reached them, he stopped little ways off and barked at Lydia. "I thought I told you to keep your distance!"
Lydia looked at him and snuggled closer to Logan. "You can't keep me away from Logan even if you wanted to, Josh. He's the only one who listens to me and helps me with real problems. He's always by my side and he looks out for me. Unlike you. Your always making up excuses and I rarely see you anymore. When I do see you, your nagging or saying bad things about Logan." She growled while saying the last sentence.
Josh glared at her. "Get away from him now, Lydia."
Lydia snarled at barked at him standing up. "Stop! Just stop! Your to protective of me! You treat me like a puppy when I'm only a few weeks younger then you! Let it go, Josh. I was fine with this when we were puppies, but now it's seriously ticking me off."
Josh growled at her and stepped closer. "Now that mom and dad are dead, I'm in charge of you. Get away from Logan, Lydia and I'll leave you alone, okay?"
Lydia looked at Logan and then back at Josh. She growled. "Since when did mom and dad say you were in charge of me? I'm in charge of myself and I say it's fine to be with Logan."
Josh barked at her. "Since I'm the older one, I need to watch out for you and protect you so nothing will happen! Keeping you away from other males is part of that job..."
Logan sighed and stood between them. He looked at Josh and said. "What are you worried about? I won't do anything funny, okay?"
Lydia stepped in front of Logan still facing Josh. She bent down so she was under Logan's head.
Logan slowly licked her forehead and looked back at Josh. "Try trusting me for once, Josh."
Josh growled and threw Logan to the ground. "I can't trust you! I know your dying to try for puppies and frankly, watching out for you and wasting my evening is not on my list of favorite things to do."
Lydia rammed Josh throwing him off of Logan. She slashed open his shoulder and barked at him. "Get out of here before I make a new slash on your throat!"
Josh growled and slowly walked off. He kicked dirt on Logan on his way.
