Yes! Totally <3 I've wanted to do Tekkit, `o` Why did I never think? But I like it, I've played a bit of tekkit before but never really did the whole survival part. *cough*Ispawnedstuffin*cough*

Well Im glad some of you guys like it!
I am asking because I was thinking about putting the normal server on pause and running a tekkit server for us for a while. It has tons of mods and junk, so I think it could be fun for a bit?
And the tekkit launcher does make installing it and everything super easy for everyone!

Yeah, I'm super up for tekkit, so Im up for this. I've watched Yogscast (Don't hate, I watch some) play tekkit and it seem's super fun. I enjoy watching Duncan eue He is the smart one! So I learn well C8

Tekkit is awesome
Although it is becoming a little outdated because it doesn't have official support from the modders (Tekkit is still at 1.2.5, and no new content will ever come out for it, so no updates).

Feed the Beast seems to be the thing that is overtaking Tekkit, it has a lot of the same mods and stuff, but they are actually in collaboration with the modders and it is running at 1.4.6, updating regularly. But whether it is Tekkit or FTB, I am in support of a change

Oh interesting, ive never heard of feed the beast before! However I did go check tekkit after what you said (I didnt know that they were still stuck in 1.2.5) and found out that they DO have an updated version. It is called Tekkit lite.
Here are the two versions

Both are indeed updated for 1.4.6., so I am not sure which one we should get! Also, no idea why it is called 'Tekkit Lite' when it seems to have more mods than the old tekkit.

You guys should take a look at the mod lists for both pack and tell me which appeals more to you. ^^

I'm on tekkit, I've wanted to do a server for tekkit for a long time, and FTB doesnt seem to have as many mods. I have a new computer aswell so I'll probably be able to hold all the tekkit awesomeness on it. xD

Yeah FTB is good an all, but my computer has a hard time with the portal gun mod it has.


So my votes for tekkit lite for the sake of my CPU not burning up.
