OK, updates:
Yes, I've been AFK a while, I contracted some weird fever that made me delirious for a few days... getting better though. Got school to catch up on, but nothing serious occurred besides me thinking I was dying >_> psychological warfare, yippy.
Yes, Kassie is joining as Kovu! He/She is now officially the first player in the outlands, the map I'll be making some time soon (I had planned it for this weekend, but as said, I was quite ill). I promise I'll make it very soon, possibly work on it tonight, even. There will be stuff to do in the outlands, and I may even add a cave as seen in TLK2, where Kovu is sung that creep-tastic lullaby by whatever-his-mom's-name-is. As well, roleplaying will encompass the outlands and the pridelands talking to eachother and such, and Simba is the current ruler, if we get someone to play him, not Scar, not Kovu; this is basically the first half of TLK2 we're doing.
Also, Linda, after you download the file Spirits gave you, open it with a program called winzip, a free download (somewhat specific to your operating system, but it shouldn't be hard/matter much), and you will have to choose from a list of programs to use that one to open the file. After that, put the .map (dot map) file in the terrains folder, which is inside the media folder, in your FeralHeart folder (my directory is like this: C:\FeralHeart\media\terrains). Put the .fhz (dot fhz) file under the same directory, HOWEVER, put it in the folder inside terrains, called fhmaps (my directory, for reference, is: C:\FeralHeart\media\terrains\fhmaps)
After that, in the "cape of distant world" map, you should see a green portal pretty close that will lead to the pride lands map, because you basically just installed it!
Here's a thought, I should really make a program to install these maps automatically... Another project perhaps?
