The Deities of Gemcrypt [~Wolf~God/Deity~RP~Open&Accepting]

((S'okay, we'll just say when Time howls for night to come instead of leading the Moon up, Jaya covers her with clouds so she may make her descent ^_^
Anyway, Bumblybee, two minds must think alike because you described Life's Temple and the meeting place EXACTLY how I imagined it. With the pillars an' all.

Time skip to the time just before the meeting.))

After the brief conversation from the Sea herself, Aika found herself arriving at the meeting place earlier than she intended. Maybe it was the issue between Death and Life that made her feel like she was needed there... Aika sighed as the sound of water slapping against a pond met her ears, and the wolf goddess passed through the entrance to Life's temple. Taking two steps at a time (she had always found it awkward, climbing up stairs since no bipedal animals lived in Gemcrypt) Aika reached the meeting place, unfazed at the fact that Clover had gotten there first, and was already seated at her pillar among the other eleven. They were tall, in fact too tall for a regular canine to get onto, but of course it was an easy task for any deity to do. Aika got a running start, leaped into the air, kicked off of Intel's pillar leaving an illusion of time gears and dust, and finally landed on her pillar. The pillar had an hourglass engraved into it, just like the others who had a certain symbol representing what that god was in charge of. Speaking of hourglasses, the one that was faithfully floating by Time's side had just flipped, signaling the night that was to come. Aika raised her snout to the air and howled, once she was done, she sat down and looked to Clover,
"How're you, Life?"

"Greetings goddesses of Time and Life."

Intel entered the enclosure and headed toward his own seat, pausing to give a dip of his head in greeting to the two females politely. Getting on his seat a similar way as Time did, he sat down and smiled to the two. "Lovely evening, are you both doing alright? Today's tasks weren't too difficult I hope?"

Arakko slipped through to her seat after she'd gotten the job of checking the water ecosystem, stopping to give the three deities a nod of polite greeting. She bounded quietly to her seat, her paw pads muffling the noises a regular animal would make when stepping on a complicated terrain (If that makes sense o-o'). The goddess nodded once more, her eyes shining and her face containing a calm smile.

"Good evening," she greeted them quietly, her voice quiet, as if the slightest bit shy. "Have you all been doing alright?"
Sea wrapped her tail around her paws, sitting erect and alert while looking at the other wolves.

   Clover smiled politely and nodded to each of the gods. "Good, good. I've noticed Death has taken two souls recently," she said with a slight growl. "It seems as if she's pushing my patience every day." She sighed and looked around at the empty pillars. "Hopefully the other gods will get here soon. I do want to start soon."

Time nodded at Sea and Intelligence, there other two deities having just arrived. Her sharp amber eyes turned to Clover at the mention of Death.
"Yes, I saw." She cast a glance at Intel, who had practically been there to witness the whole thing happen. "I think Suya can tell us all about it,veryone is present," Aika almost smirked at the thought of calling Shi out, what had happened earlier today had disturbed the peace. The gold she-wolf watched without much interest as the rest of the gods filed in, Fire, Wind, Sea, Sun, Earth, and Emotion. Aika counted all of them once they were seated at their pillars, seeing that only three were left empty. Jaya and Capshwai, Sky and Moon, were obviously still up in the night sky, tending to their last tasks before descending toward the meeting place.

And there was Managa-Shi. Death. Late. Again. This is going to be a long meeting...

Shi stood at the side of the ravine, her muzzle to the air, letting the breeze carry her midnight black, wispy fur back. Death sighed and started running, her back legs slowly morphing into one big black wisp, and her front legs gradually lifting off of the ground. She flew to the meeting place without making a sound, like a whisper in the dark. Death landed at the entrance, crimson eyes glaring at the mere sight of the rocky steps that led up to the pillars.Glaring at ground, at the waterfall, at the mere scent of the she-wolf that she called her rival. She reached the meeting place, where the other gods were already perched atop their pillars. Shi made her way up to hers, the one that was directly across from Life's and sat down, wisps of darkness waving around her like a shield. Suddenly crimson eyes smirked,

"Greetings. Let's begin, shall we?"

Jaya got up and flied. She almost forgot the meeting due to her work. Jaya then landed and ran towards the meeting place, trying to make sure she's not late. "I'm going to late, I'm gong to be late!" she whispered. Jaya then stopped at the entrance of the meeting place. She walked up the stairs, paws feeling weird since she wasn't used to these grounds. "annoying stairs" she whispered. Jaya finally made it to the meeting place and jumped to her seat. "sorry that I'm late, should we wait for moon?" she barked.

   Clover simply growled silently in agitation. "Why must you be late?" She asked Shi, a look of annoyance on her face. "Also, explain yourself today. You took two extra souls." She stamped her paw against the pillar. "Why must you do that?"

((I belive RainbowPass/Moon made a leaving thread, so I'll rp her as an NPC for now.))

An odd, yet content smile appeared on Shi's face at Clover's confrontation, a smile that most would describe as insane. Death inclined her head to be level with Life's, the look of annoyance on her face clearly evident. Aika was also shooting her looks of disapproval. Shi was about to speak when Jaya walked in, apoligizing for being late. Clover said nothing to the goddess of the sky, which irritated Shi to no end. Just as Jaya asked if they should wait for moon, said goddess landed on her designated pillar, allowing Shi to speak again.

"First of all, Jaya and Moon arrived after me." She said it in a 'as-a-matter-of-fact'ly way, making her sound quite smug, "And you never said anything to them about being late. So hush up 'bout that." For a split second there was a pout on her maw, quickly replaced by a sneer,
"And I gave Intel a perfectly good reason for taking the souls. And he's much better than explaining than me." Death left it at that, staring up at the stars with a scowl. She waited for the others to speak up before continuing her argument.

Jaya growled at death, tail raising. "I heard that you toke two extra souls today and....what good reason!?" she barked at shi.

  Clover growled. "They have a perfectly good excuse to be late," she said, ears folded back. "Intellegence, anything to say about this matter?" Her tone changed to be a little softer, to adress that she wasn't angry at Intel.
