Ok so i was making a map and you know i put waterfalls and stuff from default too. then i export it and when i go to cape the portal isnt there. I go back into map making and find that all my default objects are gone from the map. I saved before i left!!! The i click default and it says cannot be found. I didn't do anything or change anything. Help!!!!!

And if I can't fix it, Will someone tell me if I uninstall feral heart and redownload the game, will i lose my maps?

Hmmm, it sounds like you didn't save something, or you have moved some things around within the game folders. Are you sure you didn't move any of the object groups around in their folder within the FH folder?

And, reinstalling FH WILL make you loose your maps, UNLESS you back them up. Just go into your "Terrains" folder, and drag everything onto your desktop, do the same with your "exports" folder. Then you may uninstall and reinstall FH, and simply copy all the files and folders you saved into their same places in your new FH folder.

No, if you uninstall and reinstall Feral Heart, simply you will not lose your maps. The only way you'll lose them is if you delete the Feral Heart folder. The only way you'd lose them is if you deleted that folder, seeing as the install would use the same folder as the one previously on your computer.

Well currently i have the vine stuff, waterfall, and crystal in misc there is no default folder, is there supposed to be?

this may sound nooby but ive never payed attention  So i was downloading this map that was zipped and it said to put all the files into exports, so i did. but there was one bad file in it and that was default(2).fho    before i realized that there was a bad file, i put all the .fho files from it into objects, but not into any folder. That didnt work(still i dditn realize there was a bad file yet) so i deleted from objects. There were files left and those were myplants.object, myrocks.object, mytrees.object, and temp.object in that order.  i may have accidentally deleted some but there arent anymore .object files in my recycle bin. So were there .fho files in there that i might have deleted, or is it only supposed to be .object?

In the objects folder there should be fho. I suggest saving map files and deleting the feral heart folder and reinstalling.

Thank you i found my default.object in exports so i put it in objects along with miscellaneous.fho. Case closed again lol
