No more Pokemon were left, a fact that almost stunned the Meowth. He looked around him, and all around there were burnt marks, stray leaves, drips of water, shattered crystals, and the bodies of the fainted Pokemon. It usually took longer to knock out the enemies, because he was always alone. When in a group, it was an entirely different matter. "Heh heh, wow!" Tensu placed his paws on either side of his hips, eyeing their work with a pleased, sly smile. "I should work in a team more often!"
Tensu followed the others down the tunnel, curious about the Snivey's little fact note. That would be useful, he mused. I should try working on that. Though at this moment it was unneeded, for Metis already found the next set of stairs. Strangely, Tensu felt highly uplifting, despite the battle that had taken place. Though he remained vigilant of his surroundings, he didn't feel as serious or grim as he usually did when taking on a mission. It had been awhile since he worked in a group, in fact the more he thought about it the other mission with the rookies had been Tensu's very first one since he stopped teaming up with Sneasel. Perhaps now, though, this could happen more often.
Tensu looked about the area, and seeing nothing he went on all fours and darted quickly to the stairway. Pausing beside them, he took another look around then waved the others over. "All clear!" he announced. "I'll go on ahead and make sure nothing is waiting for us on the other end." Smiling, this time just a regular, happy smile instead of a smirk, the Meowth slipped through the entryway.
